"My experience is similar to some of the others who left reviews. The apartment was not cleaned before my moving in, and since I have been looking around at other apartment complexes in the area, yes, Radnor Crossing is overpriced. My kitchen and bathroom are extremely outdated. As one reviewer said, it's "a falling apart apartment." (They did not show me the unit before moving in, I only saw their model unit.) Mice are a big problem. Ants, too. There is a terrible smell coming from the bedroom closet and it keeps getting worse. Not sure if it's mold or dead animals. Also true that management doesn't care about the tenants and ignore requests for service. Beth and Nancy are liars. They are so rude. I have serious problems living here and cannot get help from them."
"I’ve had a lot of issues since I moved in with stuff breaking but will from maintenance has been great! I made this review because I felt it was important to say thank you. For reviews I’d give a 5 if less broke but a lot of things have broke. However, everything has been fixed or is being fixed thanks to Will. Other maintenance guys were an issue but thanks to Will and the complexes manager Beth it all is resolved. I have lived here a year and had no bugs and no mice. The balcony is great and we are happy here. Wish it was cheaper but other than that we are happy."
"Short story: safe apartments, not cleaned very well upon move in, DO NOT get a ground floor apartment, it came with bugs and mice. Second/third floor will be a much happier experience for you. Long story: I lived at Radnor Crossing for about a year and a half, living in 2 different units at the time. Living here was okay, definitely a safe apartment and no security issues during my time there. Rent was a bit steep for the size/non updated appliances of the apartment. As far as maintenance goes, I first moved into a 2nd floor apartment. Very little issues and didn’t really ever need maintenance to come, however when we moved in it was very obvious the apartment had not been cleaned. There was hair down into all of the carpets that would get kicked up when we’d walk, this was especially concerning considering we moved into the unit in the middle of the pandemic. However the second unit that I moved into was a 1st floor, ground unit and that is where problems happened. We lived there for an 8 month lease and had mice problems pretty much the entirety of the lease. There was a rumor that it had been an issue in that building for a long time and we just weren’t being told about it - however that was never confirmed by the office, that’s just what we heard from the rest of the tenants in the building. We had a (very nice) maintenance employee come and fill holes around the apartment thinking maybe that’s where they were getting in, and when he had pulled out our oven there was a decent amount of trash that was stuck behind the oven. Mind you, this was not our trash. This was from a previous tenant that was not cleaned out before our move in. Once again concerning because we are in a PANDEMIC. The ground floor also was infested with ants when we first moved in, and fruit flies and LARGE spiders were an issue throughout the entire lease. Vents in both of my apartments were also extremely caked in dust. I know other reviews are saying that the office staff is rude, I never personally experienced this so I can’t speak on that myself - but I have heard other tenants speak about some off putting conversations with the office. Don’t get me wrong, the landscape is beautiful and from the outside it looks great, but unfortunately the issues that came with the ground floor apartment were enough to make us leave."
"My husband and I lived here for almost four years. Pros: great location- walking distance to Giant and the Radnor Trail, quiet neighbors - we never had noise issues from the other apartments which was a relief, we loved the balcony, we lived on the 3rd floor which had high ceilings and made the apartment feel much bigger than it was. Cons: Way overpriced, we had a 1 bedroom 690 sq ft, they wanted us to renew our lease for 12 months (the cheapest option) at +1400! Parking was always an issue- we got 5 parking tickets in one year between the two of us because they don’t have adequate spots and they charge $80/month for use of the garages. Most of the garages are empty which was always frustrating when you are driving around at 10pm and there’s no where else to park. Management was never responsive to calls about the parking tickets. We had issues with maintenance coming into our apartment without permission a couple of times- once when I was home and didn’t answer the door they just came in, very strange. The management also always would leave important notices on the floor in front of the doors- we missed some notices that were important because they would get picked up by cleaners or would somehow get kicked away from the door. Definitely a bad way to communicate with residents. We did have mice one winter which was distressing. The maintenance guys were responsive and came to set traps and clear them but it was still gross and disappointing when we were paying so much. Overall we loved living here because of our apartment and the area, but we were not impressed with management and high rent prices."
"Love the area and beautiful landscaping. Pool is very nice and a life guard is always on duty. Staff is very responsive and helpful especially with lease addenda. Maintenance requests are easy to start and they always come within the day. There's a trail nearby. Walking distance to a grocery store, Bed Bath and Beyond, PNC Bank, and some eating establishments. Parking is reasonable. There really isn't a better place in the area and the living community is great."
