"After the apartment was sold to a new owner, the service is so terrible. The front door even don’t have backup keys. If you forget to bring your key you will have to break into the room and pay for the damage; if the fire alarm rings they even don’t have the key to turn off the alarm and the alarm keeps ringing for 1 h after the fireman leaves. So inconvenient previous mentioned problem seems doesn't happen again. now the maintaince is good, and the broken dishwasher can be maintained within 3 business days. so i changed to 1 star to 5 star."
"If you wonder about the bad reviews, I’ve been living here for 2 years and I’ve stayed in multiple apartments in Pittsburgh. This is still arguably the best place to live in. For references my unit faces inward so there’s no noise issue from outside. Also, the unit walls are quite good at stopping noise from neighbors. There has been some problem when the management switched, but the new management team has been doing quite up to standards. I also have a concern about lease renewal price. Will update the review once I get my renewal lease."
"I was living here and my apartment roof started to have a leaking problem soon after I moved in. “Thankfully” my lease was just 6-month long and they managed to fix it by the time I moved out. The only remedy was they agreed to help me change a room after I requested and next day they said they already sold it to someone else. I wasn’t able to break the lease either. It was during the pandemic and there was shortage of maintenance staff that I understand, but it looked to me that they don’t really care about me as a tenant."
"really angry about the maintainance policy! i submitted maintainance requirement to deal with the drawer. However, after the maintainance finished i received a warning letter indicating that they are not satisfied with my room (they think not clean enough)! how horrible! they even said that they will check our room again within two weeks! first, i didn't cause ANY damage, and i definitely will clean the room as new before i move out this room. Second, they claim that they have the right to check my room status according to the lease. i don't want to play word games but i have the right to tell people the truth of the hiding policy: in the future (since Coda has changed an owner several months ago) everytime you submit maintainance requirement you have to carefully clean you room! Please think carefully before you choose CODA!"
"Expensive, but horrible. 3rd times of false fire alarm in 3 months. The manager never knows why it happens, and they can't even shut them down even if they know it's a false alarm!! It rang for more than 30 minutes, everyone is going to become deaf!!!! My dish washer doesn't work at all. Staff came to check the day after I submitted an order, and never able to repaired it till now. A construction site is beside the east side of the apartment. Various noises start on 7am from Monday to Saturday, never stops. Some noises occurs even in late night. Never plan to sleep if you don't have a noise cancelling earphone. But the rent was incredibly expensive, and there's a great price increase during September, the time when new students come to Pittsburgh. That's why this apartment has to place a "now leasing" sign outside its entrance, because they have no advantage compared with any other counterparts, and the apartment is just even driving tenants out! Not recommended!!! Unless you want your Saturday be destroyed on 9 am by a false fire alarm! --Writing this comment under the endless echo of a false fire alarm"
