"I have had surgery at the Fredericksburg location a couple of times now. They are amazing there. I am surprised by the difference in care at the Stafford location. First, the pain management is far better at Fredericksburg. Fredericksburg does everything they can to limit pain because their outlook is they don't want your pain to get out of control because it is harder to manage. Stafford does not have this approach. Second, as soon as I was coherent from surgery, I was told they had already called my ride to pick me up. Nobody bothered asking me how I was feeling, how my pain was or anything. And to top it off, I ended up having to return to the ER a few hours later because a nurse didn't want to do her job. I had a catheter placed during surgery. I was told that they would take the catheter out, see if I could use the bathroom and if I couldn't then they would place the catheter back in and send me home with a foley. When the nurse took me to the bathroom I told her I only went a little bit and I felt like my bladder was still really full but I couldn't go. She said I had peed enough (she said I peed 20mls but it looked more like 17 to me) dumped my pee out and disappeared before I could say anything else. 5 hours later I am at the ER to have a catheter put in. They drained 1500ccs of urine from me at the ER. The average female bladder holds 500ccs. If I didn't go to the ER when I did I probably would have died....or at least lost all use of my bladder."

"Waited over a month for an appointment. They called me to set it up. When I called the day before it to verify everything was good to go I was informed I wasn't even in the system and then they searched and found they canceled my appointment 7 days prior because "we didn't have the paperwork we needed". Everything was in place except for the tricare referral. Called around, got it all fixed (the day before the appointment) and was told "Great, we have everything we need....her next available appointment is over a month out." (Past the one we canceled on you instead of making a simple phone call asking you to get us that one piece of paper). I WAS IN TEARS. I have been in pain for almost a year only to have it canceled. The lady did apologize, but this not something a simple apology fixes. Definitely would NOT recommend!"

"Wonderful experience! Dr. Baldwin Young is extremely knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner. Office staff and nurse are wonderful too. If I need a surgeon again I will absolutley go back to this office."
