Grounded, located at 3700 O Street Northwest in Washington, D.C., is a unique institution that offers a variety of dining options. Originally opened as Vital Vittles in 1973, Grounded has grown into a full-service grocery store, offering everything from meat and produce to frozen foods and cereal. The store also features a wide selection of sandwiches, chips, and drinks for meals on the go, as well as vegetarian, vegan, and organic products.

In addition to the grocery store, Grounded also includes The Hilltoss, a healthy dining option on the south side of campus, offering fresh creations to keep students fueled and feeling great. The Hilltoss also features Grounded, the Corp's newest coffee shop, serving coffee, tea, specialty drinks, breakfast toasts, and bagel sandwiches.

The Midnight Mug, another part of Grounded, is the Corp's largest coffee service, providing a haven for students and professors in need of a boost while studying in Lauinger Library. Open late every school night and even later during finals, The Midnight Mug offers a constantly evolving menu of coffee drinks and seasonal specials.

Uncommon Grounds, located across from the University bookstore in the Leavey Center, offers traditional coffee, lattes, tea, and a variety of pastries. The coffeehouse atmosphere includes live performances from students, poetry readings, open-mic nights, and student artwork exhibitions.

Hoya Snaxa, opened in 2003 in the Southwest Quad, is another convenient campus destination within Grounded. Stocked with essentials like coffee, bagels, sandwiches, and snacks, Hoya Snaxa also offers toiletry and dorm life items for students, faculty, and staff on the south side of campus.

With a focus on serving the Georgetown community, Grounded provides a range of dining options and convenient services to keep everyone satisfied and fueled throughout the day.
