"Picked up my espresso and when I got in my car and started to take my first sip, I immediately noticed a perfume or such like smell where the barista had touched the cup. Yuck. When I got home, I poured the espresso into a cup and washed my hands 2 times to get rid of the odor."

"The drinks were great, but the employees weren’t. I have an employee my cash and she slid it across the table. I found this very disrespectful especially for me when being a black male. When a white male ordered his drink the barista gave it to him in his hand."

"I was excited to go to one of the few unionized Starbucks until I learned from employees about how they had been treated by the larger organization for unionizing. I think they deserve two stars because they shop is fine, clean, pleasant enough, and the location is great. But how workers are treated is an important part of my experience as a patron and it made me highly uncomfortable. I hope the larger organization makes decisions that are beneficial for customers AND employees in the future."
