"I love Dr. Andrews, he is going above and beyond during this strange Covid-19 season where all sessions have to be done via teleconference. Neither of us knew how well it would work but were willing to try out new things. To that end it has been a very positive experience and I have already seen great improvement and healing. They do not seem to be 'after your money' as some have said here. It has been very straight forward each session I know before we begin what my co-pay is and that it is processed. I also am well aware of the paperwork I have signed that stipulates the 24 hr required warning of cancellation. It is not any different from any other doctor's office or clinic I have been a part of. Everyone has good and bad days, who knows if it was an off day when one calls in sick. So long as you are well aware of protocols, there are no real surprises. I am looking forward to getting to where I want to be in a very kindly led way. Thank you Dr. Andrews and Pasadena Center for Counseling."

"My daughter has been going here for about a year & never missed an appointment. She took a break from going for a few months & started going again about a month ago. We plainly forgot about an appointment that was scheduled soon after she started going back, but nobody from the office called to ask if we were still coming or even if everything was OK. You would think that a doctor's office, especially a therapist office, would call to check on their patient considering people are going to them for mental help! Nobody even acknowledged my daughter's missed appointment until I called 2 days later to reschedule & the new appointment was during the same week. When I checked my HSA funds I saw the office had deducted $55 from my account! I don't care what the "laws" are regarding insurance, common concern should've been practiced prior to deducting that money! I was honest with the doctor when I called to reschedule too, explaining how I confused the appointment with another day. The new appointment was in the same week, so the doctor & office made $75 that week for a 30 minute appointment (since my deductible is $20)!! Don't respond to my review with your generic response because my daughter will not be going back. Mental health is very important, but apparently money is more important than that at this facility."

"I love PCC! I have an amazing relationship with my councilor. And so does my fiancé. We have grown so much stronger in ourselves and as individuals. My therapist is Dorinda. She’s absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this business to single individuals, couples, children, adults etc. If you’re having a tough time or just generally need someone to talk to about the things going on in your life come here. It’s also conveniently located on Ritchie HWY right by Bj’s. So it’s not too far if you’re in any of the surrounding areas. Brooklyn Park, Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Pasadena (obviously), etc. I’ve been a patient for about a year now. So my review is sold. Also, to the people complaining about the fee when you miss an appointment, you read and sign off the paper work before becoming a patient here. If you have a genuinely extenuating circumstance they will understand. However if for any other reason you cancel without the appropriate notice you will be charged for that missed appointment. How would you like to come to work, spend all day pouring your heart out trying to help people and then have them not show up and not get paid because of it. Sorry but they’ve got to make a living it’s not all about YOU!"

"Unable to cancel appt in time, got ripped off with fees and a completely uncaring woman with ZERO empathy in her demeanor. The therapist just nods and says mhmm then provides the most basic and stereotypical advice. Do not spend your money here."

"The co-owner has no empathy for their clients, who pay their salary. He acts greedy by taking every opportunity to make money off of you. True story, I had to cancel an appointment due to an extenuating circumstance. I have an active e. Coli infection and couldn't even think straight due to fevers. I forgot to contact the office 24 hours ahead of time and didn't even know the therapist's phone number to try to re-schedule. I called two hours before when I could muster up some strength after not having ate for over 48 hours. The contract I signed stated some exceptions will be made for certain circumstances on a case by case basis. This certainly seemed like an emergency situation. Instead of showing empathy and considering my request to waive the cancellation fee, I was told they are personally cancelling my next appointment for me so I don't get others sick and then i was hung up on. No empathy. I was simply another person who helps them be rich. Mental health care here is a joke."
