"I wish we had better options in this area. The doctors themselves are great but they’re only as good as their help. and the office supervisor (DONNA) needs to fix her attitude problem or work somewhere else. She must forget where she works- a doctors office- where people go when they are unwell and are seeking help. She was so rude to me last time I came here for being 20 minutes late that it made me cry. Little did she know, because she did not ask or care, I was 20 minutes late because I was vomiting- which is exactly why I needed to see the doctor, I was vomiting almost everyday for no reason. ACTUALLY I was only going to be 15 minutes late until I got the nasty phone call from her, informing me that I was late and as I was nicely trying to ask if she wanted me to reschedule or still come in, she sighs and says “just come in” and hangs up on me!!! So I was even later because of that, because I am emotional and it made me bawl my eyes out, which literally directly is because of my poor health, that makes me so emotional. I told myself it was my last time I was going to them, but after actually seeing the doctor (Dr. Powell, amazing woman, somehow made me smile and laugh as I was holding back tears) and realizing my health really wasn’t isn’t good, I decided I won’t let the disrespectful nasty secretary impact me like that. My next visit, I tricked myself by writing 4:30 in my calendar instead of the actual time, 4:45. As some days are better than others, I arrived 15 minutes early (4:15). So I walk up, say my name, she responds “you’re 30 minutes early and the doctor is an hour behind”. I said “oh.. should I come back then?” And she looks at me like I’m stupid for asking, and tells me to come back at 5. This is 2022 people, gas isn’t cheap, and time is precious. She could have called and said that the doctor was running behind schedule before I left my house. And to be as nasty as she was to me last time for being 20 minutes late, and then this? Yeah, she needs a new job or an attitude fix!!!!!!"
"Dr. Katz was amazing! He was very personable and honest. I felt like he really wanted to help me make my health care goals. I have never been to a doctor’s office and felt like coming back…lol!"
"First of all, I'm using an alt account so please don't respond with "Your name isn't in our database". I went to this doctor for several years. I mostly saw Pat (an NP) who is great, really cares and listens. My only complaint about her is that she sent me to an oncologist (cancer doc) for a swollen lymph node instead of running tests first. I'm young and healthy and don't have cancer (thankfully). Being sent to an oncologist was scary, expensive, and unnecessarily stressful. I was treated really poorly by the office staff. They called me and screamed at me because I needed an authorization sent to my insurance for a medically necessary surgery and they said it "wasn't their job" and they "don't get paid for it"."
"After a long hiatus (Active Duty service), I returned to the practice for a checkup and some prescription refills. Dr. Katz provided me with a complete and comprehensive physical and wellness baseline. He also brought all of my prescriptions up to date!"
"All the staff are wonderful. They truly care about the well-being of their patients and see to it, that they get the proper care the individual needs without pushing medication that's NOT needed. In this world of counterfeit pharmaceutical pushers, their team is great at NOT doing that."
