"A year after my L4-L5 fusion (Oct. 2022), I knew I was not healing accordingly. Before my back surgery I was fit and a gym rat. When I say that back surgery knocked me off my world would be an understatement. After going to two different physical therapy locations without any noticeable progress, I felt like my life as I knew it was over. Newly retired in 2020, from the police department, I was ready to take on the world, instead I could barely function on a daily basis. Well the BIG DEPRESSION set in and I felt hopeless. I started at Pivot PT in College Park, back in December 2023, and I was assigned to Nadige, when I say that she has helped me not only physically but tremendously mentally as well. Nadige challenges me and supports me when I get frustrated. Nadige I can honestly say that for the first time since my surgery, I feel like I can physically and mentally get back to being me.
