"Excellent service. I needed a battery change on my Omega seamaster, the local dealer quoted me $400 for the change and wouldn’t budge on price. I only asked Towson Jewelers if they knew who else could do it. I was skeptical of giving it to them because they are small. However the owner talked me through the process and suggested I go on google and see if his process would be the same. It was, he even invited me to stay and watch and talked me through the stages from checking the gasket for water proofing to changing the battery. They finished they job quickly and as a further nice touch they then spent 10 minutes steam cleaning and polishing my Seamaster back to its former glory. Total price was $40 including the clean and Polish. If you have an Omega or a Rolex don’t be put off by the small size. The owner takes pride in his work and he’s extremely cost effective. I would whole heartedly recommend his services to anyone."

"DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE. I purchased a simple stud earring set for Valentine’s Day. When my partner went to try on the earrings, she noticed that it was bent. When she tried to take it out of the package, it broke in her hand. When I purchased the earrings, I received a text message receipt. When I went to return/ exchange, I was told I could not return. The person at the counter was rude and accused me of making my own receipt. I would NOT support their business !"

"We took my engagement ring to Towson Jewelers to be resized. Upon picking the ring up, we were surprised that the band was no longer round, but rather an oval shape. We weren’t expecting this. We were told that is how they resize a ring when there are stones on the side of the band as to not damage the stones. I confirmed this with another jeweler. Ok no problem, I wish this had been communicated to us beforehand though. However, the ring was still too large & was falling off of my finger despite having my finger sized at the time of drop off. Also the shank looked odd, it was much smaller width wise than it had been before (as you can see in the picture). The very bottom of the shrink was incredibly thin. Again, it had not been like that before. I decided to take the ring to another jeweler to be resized, one that is a family business and has been in business for 98 years. The jeweler there inspected the ring thoroughly and noted a few things. 1. The shank had been completely replaced, that is why the width abruptly changes right below the portion of the band that has the stones. Also, she noted that the shank was yellow and misshapen at the bottom, and too thin of course. It would likely break over time. 2. After inspecting the stones on the band, she noted that on one side of the band, the stones were aquamarine which is how we purchased it. However, on the opposite side of the ring in the exact same spot, one of the stones was cubic zirconia. You could tell because there was no blueish hue as an aquamarine should have, and the stone was cloudy. She said the cubic zirconia cannot withstand the heat that had been used to resize it so that is what caused it to be cloudy. All of the stones on the band were aquamarine with no cloudiness at the time of purchase. She said that it was likely that the aquamarine stone had been damaged during the resizing and they had replaced it with cubic zirconia. The jeweler who resized the ring would not offer a refund and now we have to spend another $250 to have the shank replaced and the aquamarine stone on the one side of the band replaced. I have never had an experience like this when having rings resized in the past. What was once a beautiful ring (despite being too large) now has several defects. Not surprisingly, we are livid."
