DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

"Generally not a review writer but very disappointed in the service I received from this store today. I went to the register to check out and one of my items rang up more than the price that was posted on an in store sale sign. My cashier would not take my word for it. He said their system showed it higher price and rang me up and said if I went back and checked and it really was different he world refund the difference. When I came back with the picture of the sign, he passed me off to another cashier. She also disagreed with the price on the sign, noting the store system reflected the higher price and called for her manager. The manager came. I explained the situation and showed her the picture. She said she'd refund the money. Then she stopped before finalizing the refund and asked to see the picture again, but my friend had walked away and it was on her phone. So the manager said she'd be back and left. Then a different person came back with the sign in his hand and said he had placed that sign out this morning and that it was a mistake and they would not honor the price. I totally understand mistakes happen but they admitted they had posted the price. I feel that should have been honored for me and then subsequently removed. Not a single one of the employees I interacted with looked/sounded like they cared to be there and were not helpful in any way."
