"I called Free State Appliance Services Inc to repair a dishwasher and dryer that were both malfunctioning. I chose this company based on the glowing reviews I read online. Owner and Operator, Brian Hurley, and I spoke about the issues and he had me text him photos of the appliances and the model info so he could order the parts that were needed, saving a trip to my house. Already he was looking out for me and my bottom line. This was the start of a beautiful relationship. Brian is an outstanding guy, always taking care of and looking out for his customers. He is honest and trustworthy. He now has a customer for life. I have to look no further and will go to him with all of my appliance and HVAC needs. Thank you Brian!!!"

"Our furnace had stopped working and Brian was recommended to us for repairs. We called him the same day. It was late evening; and because it was winter, he asked if we had any other form of heat in the house. We assured him that we did, and we were pretty sure that the reason he asked was because he probably would have come to our home that night to fix the furnace. The appointment was set for the next day at 1:00 pm. He actually arrived 25 minutes early and had given us a courtesy phone call when he was on his way. Brian is not just an amazing contractor, but an amazing man. When you meet him, it's as though you've known him all your life. It seems important to him to give you a level of comfort and confidence in him before starting work which was admirable! He figured out and fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes, but then noticed something else that concerned him about our furnace. He asked if he could take a look and make any adjustments if necessary. We gladly agreed! I asked him how much the bill would be. He told me it would be exactly what he quoted on the phone the night before, which was more than reasonable. His word is his bond. Brian knows his craft and is extremely versatile and resourceful. We'll definitely be using him in the future. He's a keeper!"

"Brian came out to diagnose an issue with our A/C unit not turning back on after the coils froze. He came out right away and was at our door almost exactly when he said he would be. We opted to go for a full replacement after talking over several issues we had with the old unit. There was no pressure to replace at all and he could have easily fixed it as it was. He did a temporary fix to get us cool air in the house during the last hot days of summer while we waited for the new unit. Brian and his team were out at our house as soon as the unit came in. They cleaned up their workspace as they went and were very respectful of our home. They left their workspace cleaner than it was when they got here. The whole process was smooth and as easy as possible. They worked around me working from home and after they left I had to text Brian and let him know that I could finally feel air flow in my upstairs work space! I didn’t expect that to happen given the age and layout of our home, but Brian made it happen! We have lived here for almost 3 years now and it’s the first time we have felt this comfortable and genuinely happy with work we have had done to repair and update our older home. I would call Brian again in an instant."

"Brian is absolutely AMAZING. I called him around 9 am about my overflowing dishwasher and explained I had a remediation team coming at 10. He immediately asked for my address and headed to my home. I’ve NEVER had such amazing service from an appliance repair. It’s like having a friend or neighbor come verses a business. 100% will be using Brian and Free State for ALL my appliance repair needs. We've had Brian come out twice now. Once for our dishwasher leaking and now for A/C maintenance. I've never met such friendly service people in my life. He saved us money on our dishwasher by letting us know it was cheaper to replace it with a better quality machine than to repair it. He even gave us recommendations on brands. I'm thrilled with my new dishwasher that he made no money off of me replacing the old one. And the A/C maintenance is top notch. It's nice to know when you're doing the right things to keep your A/C functioning properly. We had a feeling our builders put in a too small unit for our home, which seems to be a theme almost everywhere you go, and it was confirmed. When we upgrade, we'll be going through Brian and Free State. And hey, if you're lucky and have a guitar floating around you might be blessed with some amazingly beautiful guitar music played by an amazing soul. Thank you Brian for everything. Update. Brian replaced my A/C for me, after it quit working due to being on the wrong wattage. He made sure I had EVERYTHING I needed in a VERY reasonable price. When a gas leak emergency came up and he was pulled away (hey it’s a gas leak….I told him go go go), he came back on his day off to complete the work so I wasn’t without A/C. The quality of work is amazing and now I have the quietest A/C unit in my neighborhood. We won’t be using any other A/C or appliance company EVER. Brian has us as customers for life."
