"This is the worst health Plan and a nightmare for the Providers to get paid. They deny the claim stating the services are not covered in patient plan. We cannot bill patient as this is a covered service per Medicare."

"Two comments: per the previous review, it is apparent to me that you need to double-check anytime you are going to use an "in-network" doctor/specialists/provider to be sure they are/are still, in the network before you go to your appt. And I would suggest that you ask again (3rd time) when you go to the Dr's office. Also, write down the date, time and person you talked to and told you, "yes, the doctor/provider is in-network". Second, even though their website suggests you use your zip code to start searches - I learned that using your zip code to start doctor searches is not the best way to search. Rather, use your county name, and the county closest to yours if you want decent search results."

"This is the worst health care plan I have ever had and one that I WILL NOT RENEW. The booklet that is sent to members does not give a complete list of providers. If you need a doctor, you are the one responsible for calling around to see if University of Maryland Health Advantage is accepted. I have even called customer service to find a doctor only to be sent to an out of network provider...for which I was given a bill of $600. WORST PLAN EVER"
