Peek-A-Boo 2 Pet Grooming

"I had been a long time customer of Darci and her mother. At the end of October, 2023 I forgot to "tip" her. After grooming my dogs, she proceeded to explain to me how my 13 yo diabetic dog was now "aggressive". Within 15 minutes of leaving she then texted me that "Just wanted to notify you in advance that Mason will be $40.00 for now on. Aggression fee." Shortly thereafter, she posted on FB a very unflattering picture of my dog in a muzzle, with the wrap around his ears and in a very submissive pose. No leashes, no one holding, etc. She captioned it with this is what happens when you have too much egg nog. I went to the next appointment to talk to her to understand her aggression fee and the picture. She thought the picture was humorous and did agree to take it down. Our discussion of the aggression fee came down to it will now take two people to groom him and her assistant(s) need to be compensated. I thought there was always two people. And isn't it up to the owner of the business to compensate their employees? In the end she admitted it was because I didn't tip her and her assistant(s) (daughter) needs to pay for college and a car. When I asked why doesn't just raise her fees, she said I just did with you. Darci does not like confrontation or to be challenged. In the end she told me she did not want to groom my dogs any more. Is she a good groomer yes. Does she have good customer relations? No. Would I ever refer anyone again? No. We all see the photos she posts, what you don't see is how your pet is handled when you are not there. Reply to her post: WOW! My dog was aggressive for 13 years! How did she and her mother tolerate that 21 pound dog? Oh that’s she took pictures and made fun of him. It’s amazing he was only too aggressive after there was no tip. And she doesn’t deny she made fun of my dog."

"It is located in the basement of a house. Steps were easy to go down & there is a hand rail. If u can't manage to take animal down, knock on house door (to left of steps), and they will take pet down for you. The 2 ladies there were very polite & friendly to both me & my fur baby. Nails can be done on a walk-in basis. Bathing, de-matting fur, etc need to have an appointment."
