UPMC Jameson

"My boyfriend and I have been having to go to the emergency room to get rabies shots. Everyone from the security, front desk, nurses and everyone else in Between have been nothing but nice and patient and great with our care. The first wait was long (to be expected in an emergency room and honestly I have had longer waits before) but all the other visits have been less than 30 mins. So thankful we have this wonderful hospital down the road from us! Thank you!"

"My 13 month old son has had 2 different visits to Jameson. One trip to the Er and another trip to the out patient lab. Both experiences the staff was amazing and went above and beyond for my baby. I work in healthcare and we’ve all heard horror stories of Jameson hospital. (I do not work for UPMC or did they know I work in health) So I wanted to take time and give the staff a little praise. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby and kindness you have shown my family."

"This place is a joke I won’t take my dog here. 7 hours in the er and we never saw a doctor. Two other patients unfortunately had to be rushed back 1 due to falling in the restroom and being there for over 40 minutes with the assistance light on. The second patient passed out on the floor and was rushed back. I see a bunch of 1 star reviews and apparently they think it’s a great no changes will be made. They just don’t care about the patient."

"Took my grandson to hospital from school. He had an irregular heart beat and pain in his chest. They took him in weighed him then did an EKG, sent hin out to the waiting room were we sat for over 2 hours. I asked the nurse if it was going to be awhile she said all 30 rooms were full and they can't get anyone in until they release someone. I took my grandson home and called his Dr. Although my grandson has passed out before,has had heart trouble when he was younger,they still had him wait. I don't think that is acceptable. I don't think the school nurse would send him without a reason"

"You see all of these bad reviews? Believe them. Not only that...but magnify their negativity times 5. The security is a joke. They selectively pick who they will search. My fiance had her purse checked thoroughly. Then for the next 5 and a half hours that we were in the waiting room before finally leaving we saw them check only one other person's purse, out of maybe a dozen other women with purses that came in. Talked to someone else who was there before us that said her mom was also searched thoroughly like my fiance was and she was upset at the same thing we were. Now there's the waiting. I'm from a major urban area of this country originally and have never waited so long in an ER before in my life. It was insulting. And the staff doesn't care at all. I can't even express everything I didn't like about the experience but it will be our last time ever going there."
