"This weekend I hosted my 30th birthday celebration in the Walnut ballroom and when I tell you the team at this hotel completely blew my expectations out of the water ! The room absolutely stunning ! The décor and fresh flowers were beautifully set up. I opted to do a brunch buffet and the food was out of this world delicious ! Ms.Terri and her entire crew were absolutely phenomenal ! They were there every time I turned around the buffet and mimosa staff were so pleasant and full of smiles. If you are looking to host a beautiful stress free event this is the place to go ! Rochelle was there every step of the way to hold my hand and make sure I was pleased with every part of my event. There was another beautiful lady who I can not remember her name but she was manager on Duty for my event and there Monday morning and her presence was such a blessing! This property has a wonderful staff from sales, to food and beverage and even our housekeeping staff was amazing . The hallways always smelled fresh. As for the rooms, you get what you are paying for, this is one of the most affordable hotels in the area with AN INDOOR HEATED POOL! So you obviously can not expect to be sleeping in the Ritz Carlton but you are going to have a clean room, a comfortable bed, and smiling face at the front desk to help you with any issue that may arise . I truly recommend this property for a fun place to spend time with your family, an affordable option to take your spouse out or a beautiful place to host a wedding, baby shower or birthday party."

"Easily the worst hotel stay of my life. My four year old threw up on one of our room's two queen beds around 1 AM. The only resolution the front desk would offer was to give us a king-size fitted sheet (for our queen bed) and a nasty, stained blanket as a replacement. Nothing else, even when the kid threw up again. Refused to switch our room, said they had no other replacement sheets and claimed there was no key to housekeeping / laundry on the property, refused to even get us replacement bedding from an empty room. (The parking lot was practically empty; the hotel couldn't have been at more than 25% occupancy.) I was looking for some kind of resolution between the hours of like 1 to 4 AM. We brought our experience up to the GM in the morning, who was apologetic and understanding but not in a hurry to offer any kind of make-good — and we learned that the overnight front desk clerk had lied and said we didn't want to change rooms. She must have simply forgotten about the literal hours I spent back and forth between our room and the front desk overnight practically begging her to let us do that. Room was filthy — phone receiver was sticky with spilled beer or soda or something, carpet was stained, bathroom in poor shape. Positives: My one-year-old liked the Sesame Street toys in the lobby. The pool was fine. The hotel is moderately convenient to Sesame Place and I imagine the only reason anyone would ever stay here is because they're a partnered hotel."

"Just attended a dart tournament here. The room was spacious. The amenities are top notch, and the front desk was immensely accommodating by giving me the darter rate day of. I love a hotel that treats darters right. I will definitely be back next year."

"Very rundown, and old. Was charged much more than what I booked for. There were bugs in the room, and all of the vending machines were all mostly out of stock and quite old. Had several problems with my room key not working. Wifi was decent, that is about the only good thing I can say"

"One of the guests in our party was given the wrong room/key. She opened the door to find luggage already in that room. Then, the front desk staff acted like it was her fault for having the wrong key. Lobby area and bar were nice but the rooms were not so clean. There were literally dust balls covering the wall above our bed. There was a nasty smell coming from the vent in the bathroom, so much so that we could not turn the fan on or it blew the stench into the bathroom. Other guests said they had the same issue, foul smell coming from the vents."
