Extended Stay America - Philadelphia - Bensalem

"Hotel prices are decent for the night but be aware of the $100 Incidental fee you’ll have to pay in person checking in. It is refundable, and the kind lady told me it may take from 3-7 business days for the money to be fully refunded. Moving forward, the rooms were pretty much in proper condition. Our kitchen was pretty much in good shape and the bed was cozy to sleep in. Only issues I had were few lamp lights not working and the A.C. Not staying on for more than 5 minutes without shutting off for A good half an hour. No sight of bed bugs or roaches either!! Overall 3/5."

"If I could provide zero stars I would. I travel very frequently for work and personal and this is BY FAR the most disgusting place I have ever been to- no comparison. When entering the hotel you are hit with the horrid smell of stale cigarette smoke and just an uneasy feeling. When entering the hotel room you are greeted with stains on the curtains, walls and towels with hair on the bed. The air conditioning unit would turn off and on every 10 minutes with a bang loud enough to wake a neighborhood. I had to leave and go to another hotel. Not only was it disgusting, it felt very unsafe. Do not book this hotel!"

"The 2nd floor hall is very dark and creepy The pictures I took were taken at 8am. The bed was comfortable, the shower was decent. Hot and good pressure. The bathroom is small and the door does not close and lock. The shower curtain rod is rusty and there were spots on the ceiling. I don't think housekeepers clean behind the door or light switches. The room is 1980's dated at best. Curtains have holes and stains. Hoping that the one smoke detector works because the other seems to be defunct. Furniture is heavily scratched as is the bottom of the door to the room. Cabinet door.missing , microwave is ontop of the fridge and though I am 6'tall, it is hard for me to reach. The breakfast is a very limited grab and go. No decaf coffee options. There are other hote options in the area and are a slightly higher price, they may be worth looking into."

"Alesha was an absolute life saver basically the whole time I stayed. She was even a big help to me before I even arrived. I am grateful for all of her hard work and effort. A big reason that I will be choosing to return to this location for all my business in Bensalem is because of her. I stayed in room 228 and it was clean! I love the studio apartment set up. The iron and ironing board worked well, no issues or staining left behind on any of my clothes. The laundry facilities were clean and well kept my entire stay. The vending options were always on, always stocked and takes both credit card and cash. Overall, great stay, friendly staff, clean facilities, convenient location. Look forward to my next trip!"

"First time at an Extended Stay ever. Reception was smooth and friendly, went without a hitch, room was clean and the sheets were fresh. The front desk were super respectful and helpful about learning how utilize to utilize their amenities. Housekeeping was very kind and respectful of privacy. All in all a very pleasant experience in a uniquely wonderful location that can’t be beat. One of the best options in the area for long term stays, plan to stay again next time I’m visiting!"
