"I am another florist in Bowling Green, KY. I called on Mary Washington Florist to do an order for me personally. There was an issue with the order, and rather than be helpful (I would have gladly paid whatever they needed), I was treated like I was a second-class citizen by Gary's employee. I have never been talked to like that on the phone before, and I've had my share of problem customers. I would not recommend this florist because of poor customer service. If you do choose to use this florist, ask for Gary personally, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HIS EMPLOYEE. i can say this for certain, if one of my employees talked to a customer the way this lady talked to me, I would fire them Johnny-on-the-spot!"

"After several good experiences I must share a bad one. After the sudden death of a niece I ordered an arrangement to be sent to Covenant Funeral Home. Since I live in FL. and was unable to attend, I asked another family member to view the arrangement and was advised that the flowers were not there. On the following day I called both Mary Washington Florist and Covenant Funeral Home and neither party would take responsibility. This was not about the money I spent but more of making the point that this was certainly not my fault. I was very disappointed with both of these businesses which I have had previous positive experiences with."

"The funeral home recommend this florist. In the heat of the moment, I called them up and gave a price point I wanted for each arrangement. I paid a good bit of money to them before even seeing a sample. My risk was worth it. The arrangements did my daddy justice. They were BEAUTIFUL and we'll worth the money. They took care of one thing on my to do list so I could concentrate on taking care of my family."

"I had ordered an arrangement online from the Sympathy Store and they used Mary Washington Florist. The next day the Sympathy Store emailed to tell me that the florist did not have some of the flowers that were in the arrangement I had seen online. I phoned the florist and spoke with the nicest lady. When I explained why I was calling she told me what flowers she was using and said that she was working on the arrangement at that time. I asked her if she could send a picture when the arrangement was finished because i could not attend the service. She texted the picture to me and I have to say the arrangement was beautiful and even lovelier than the one I had seen online. I would highly recommend this florist."
