"Excellent quality preparation and ingredients, tasty, huge portions, clean modern interior. Got the falafel sandwich and rice pudding (portions easily enough for 2 meals/persons) and the homemade mint limeade (everything was super fresh and delicious). Will be back to try more menu items:-)."
"This place was 5 stars all around. The place itself is very clean and the atmosphere is great. The food is fresh, fast, authentic and delicious. I’d try anything on the menu but loved the bechamel, hummus, and falafel. I would also recommend the fresh limeade, it tastes the same as you would get on the streets of Cairo."
"Was needling something light and close. Saw this place offered Falafel. (Few veg options), I was picturing more content for the price of the bowl… flavors were definitely fresh and made in house tastes, but, that’s it. The potatoes were basic and didn’t make sense, the “salad” again, didn’t make since and dry, with a scoop of hummus..no side of bread or rice/quinoa or something. None the less, minus the lack of contents, the flavors were refreshing, and I did want something light. I also tried their pasty they have on display (visually appealing)… however very sweet! So, keep that in mind, but for the price of the dessert, that was more practical. The inside was quant! The Decor was inviting and seemed authentic and modern, There was enough space to dine in comfortably if you or a small group chose too."
"Right next to Bub and Pop's (a legendary sandwich spot), Fava Pot is a Egyptian restaurant owned by the kindest people. This space is small, but the two self-order pads help with the flow. My chicken shawarma sandwich was flavorful and large. (It comes in two halves). There's free ice water, but I also got the apricot juice. It's thick and so good! There are tables inside and a few outside."
"We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while on our way to Bubbi's Plant Burgers, but their A/C wasn't working on a brutally hot day so we came here. Boy was I glad we did. Our son loves anything Egyptian and he as well as us, loved the food here. So flavourful, delicious and the service was fantastic! We are vegan and it was quite easy to eat here. Great options. 5/5.
