"My friend and I had lunch here. My friend had a falafel sandwich which was fine but she's had better ones elsewhere. My gyro platter with lamb was tasty and filling, although not remarkable. Since we were eating at the restaurant, we got to eat off real plates from 30+ years ago. As the weather was decent we sat at a real marble table for two outside and got to peoplewatch."
"I was really craving some hummus and this place definitely satisfied that craving. The food was fresh and delicious. Plenty of seating and has a home feel!"
"The food was delicious and very nice staff. Ordered two lamb gyros and got steaming fresh food. The baklava was very rich in honey and tasted great. Gyros were priced at $9.75 a piece and baklava $3 a piece. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in the area."
"First time trying this place out and found it as a last minute dinner option and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, and the portions were generous! We ordered the gyro platter and chicken herb platter , both were around $14 including tax. The hummus was amazing and the pita bread was even better the next day when we baked it! We also ordered a piece of their baklava $3. The baklava was a bit too sweet for me but still yummy! Will be coming back and def recommend if you are in the neighborhood!"
"Small place, friendly staff, good food. Byblos is a simple little Greek spot on Connecticut Ave. I stopped by for a quick dinner, which consisted of a spinach and cheese in filo dough platter, including a salad and French Fries. It was very simple, nothing extraordinary, but not a bad meal either. The owner was very honest and helpful. There was a young couple or pair of friends dining in a couple tables away from me, and a guy dining in at the opposite side of the restaurant. There was a counter where you order, two refrigerators where you could pick up sodas or water bottles, and a kitchen in the back. Not much more to this place, and it's mostly unassuming, which has its charm to some people. Note that I went a little bit after the general dinner rush, and so they didn't have many customers come in, nor did they have any dessert options available when I arrived, which was disappointing. No Baklava for me :( Maybe another visit. I'd recommend Byblos Deli for a quick bite to eat if you're in the mood for simple Greek dishes. 4/5 stars."
