"I don’t write reviews because I’m too busy and I don’t always have exceptionally positive experiences because I have an allium allergy. Typically, I will go places and they are accommodating, but Michele’s was exceptional at ensuring I had a positive experience. First the server asked me what I wanted to eat and then consulted the chef to ensure I had the right choices. Then, when the server was at a different table, another person came and helped me select a hybrid meal. And, it was done exceptionally respectfully and discretely. I felt cared for without being made to feel like an inconvenience at all. And, to top it off, a chef came out to personally deliver my meal. Everything felt natural and easy. Maybe this is how it should be everywhere. What I know is that I travel extensively for work and I may eat at Michele’s every time I’m in DC. Thank you to their staff for a peaceful, respectful, safe, and brilliant experience. The staff will love you no matter who you are. Oh, I can’t leave out that the host was exceptionally charming offering many recommendations from the menu with genuine excitement. And, her lashes were fire!"

"My friend and I went for dinner here after the DC Auto Show and everything was exceptional! Our server and the manager were very professional and welcoming. We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu and the food was excellent! As a bonus, we made new friends at the table across from us! I will definitely be back!"

"Our visit was excellent. We chose to use restaurant week special everything was fantastic. I chose a spinach and beet salad with blue cheese. “ Absolutely divine. My main course I chose the chicken oh it was cooked perfect and the flavors were delightful. And my dessert was the final, and it was fantastic. It was a blueberry sundae layered. . I enjoyed myself immensely. It’s a long time since I’ve gone to a restaurant where I felt so comfortable."

"This place is one of our favorites in DC (if not THE favorite). While pricey (so special occasions only), every single dish is beyond exquisite and it is clear that the chef treats his craft as a passionate art form (and he is a master at it). So many of the items on the menu seem simple by name, but are innovative, intricate, and surprising when they arrive at your table. The food is to die for, the staff attentive and friendly, the environment comfortable, and the whole experience from start to end is a amazing time out. If you're willing to ignore the right hand side of the menu for a night, this place cannot be missed!"

"A nice lounge dining space with some if the best truffle fries and exotic sounding appetizers for happy hour. Came here for a group gathering and they were able to put away our coats and work bags for us and accommodating for the many people as they entered. The foods were lovely and so were the staff. Try it!!"
