"I wrote a review last year, and the school has gotten barely better, but not enough for a whole extra star. My 8th grade year so far is okay. Some students are right when they say that you get a minor report or a referral for no reason, but other than that, if i had to put all my teachers in 1 group and give them a general rating, i would give them a 6.6/10, which is more than you could expect from any Prince William County School teachers. Food still tastes like dog anus."
"This school is absolutely terrible I do not recommend you send your child here the teachers work your kids wayy to hard to teach them nothing, nothing at all and if your child is being bullied they don't do anything not the counselors or even the main people who run the school. The food has sent a couple kids to the hospital there are fights but what's new? The floors in the gym have so much dirt its just throw up worthy and they yell at the kids and say the janitors job is not to clean up after you and some kids have to clean up after other periods that the class wasn't even in! DO. NOT. SEND. YOUR. KID. HERE. please you will hear your kid(s) complain every single moment of their middle school lives"
"i woudn't say that this school is bad, it just needs to fix some things. administrators and counselors care more about if you shoulder is showing than people fighting in the hallway.. they worry about issues such as ""not letting students go back and get napkins from the lunch line" more than students telling others to "kys" and making threats. teachers also care more about teaching for the sol, than teaching to help kids get an education. but the school isn't complete trash. it has some good to it. i've met some awesome people over the past year, and i've had some unforgettable moments in this school. it can be ghetto sometimes, but what PWCS school isn't? also, shoutout to ms. ray, she actually cares about the students and has a passion for teaching. she makes learning fun."
"This school is fun. And funny. But the teachers are annoying. And we need new ones, please find a new gym teacher to replace Mr.Grayson. He is lazy and is a horrible gym teacher. I like this school a lot but the minor reports and the petty teachers that mark you tarty after 0.3 seconds when the bell rings have to go and please tell them the bell does dismiss us and if we late cause of them they will be getting a call from my next period teacher . And please get people that teach us and not give us assignments in a notebook, and yell at us like we their kids . The best teacher is Maily Bopp aka Sra Bopp. And get better lunch food ‼️, I'm gone"
"I went here a while back and I can say that teachers and academics were on point. The counselors were all very helpful and friendly to my sister and I. I gave it a 1 star rating because there is just too much bullying from the students that attend here. So much that I don't think the staff can keep up with it. When I attended there were also a few security guards posted around. I got the feeling that the groups were close knit here. After two weeks I started skipping lunch to avoid being bumped from lunch table to lunch table by the groupies. Eventually the teachers caught on and a school counselor placed me at a table. Another reason for the low rating is the fighting. In between classes there is usually a fight and if you need to go to the bathroom you'd be better off holding it and asking a teacher since that is usually where the fight's would be. Lastly, many of the students have a I-could-care-less attitude and hardly try at all. Especially in gym where they would stand around and mock the teacher (not kidding). This was back in 2006 so hopefully it has changed but I'm not too optimistic about it. If you can, don't send your kids here. They'll either be harassed or be influenced to harass or end up with the wrong kids and unfortunately the wrong crowds outweigh the good ones. I may move back into the area and refuse to look at any home that is within range of this school, I would rather work 3 jobs to pay for private school for my children if that is what it meant."
