"What a great experience! I came in with a load of estate jewelry to get a sense of value before having the family select and sell the rest. I was very up front about what I was doing (meaning I wasn’t selling that day) and the owner was wonderful! Patient, thoughtful, interested in chatting and giving me info I didn’t know about the history of my pieces. Very knowledgeable and efficient. I felt like he really had an interest. Some pieces were of value as jewelry, some were only valuable for the gold. He was up front about both and even said not to sell him some pieces if they had sentimental value. Did he offer close to retail? No! But it’s a pawn shop! I do not have the time or energy to list piece by piece on eBay, so after my family chooses what they want I will be back to sell the rest here."
