"I would like to provide 5 stars for the minority kitchen staff that have to endure the degrading by the lady at the cash register that takes orders. I mean you’d think you’re back in slavery the way she speaks to those staff members. Unacceptable!! Never going back. P.S. they are the reason you’re still in business lady. Learn some respect and humility."
"The lady at the cash register doesn’t greet her customers, has a nasty attitude, and will make you wait as she takes orders on the phone although you’ve been waiting on her before the phone ever rung. She didn’t give me a receipt, so I asked and noticed she over charged my breakfast sandwich - Turkey bacon & egg, NO CHEESE is only $6.29. Somehow everyone who ordered after me food came before mine. Quality of food is bare minimum. I do not recommend."
"I've been in DC for close to 20 years. This institution (and it IS an institution) is what the city has very few of; Authentic, delicious, and hands down the BEST deli! If you haven't tried Loeb's yet, wth are you waiting for?! You get what you pay for here. There is never a shortage on food and they don't skimp!!"
"Every bite of the Loeb’s Special Reuben is crispy on the outside and delicious in the middle. Side pickle is tops. Expect to wait a minute to get this classic NY deli sandwich but it is worth it. Prices comparable to most downtown. 14-15 for the sandwich. Chips are a bit pricey at $2."
"Solid NY style deli with attitude. Menu over the counter, not online or printed, so till your head back and pick something out. Order at the counter and wait a few minutes. If you eat in, someone will try to find you with your food. $15 for a sandwich, but that's pretty much the going price in the city for lunch. Hot fries add another $3. What's not to love."
