"Let me first say that I love my apartment, and Tyo has always been wonderful. Now to the annoyance ... I moved in the community in September and the day after I moved in, there was a derecho that caused days of rain, which highlighted a leak in the roof. Since then, I have patiently waited for it to be fixed. After several emails and maintenance requests, it is still unresolved, and now I am being ignored. Unfortunately, I'm left with no other alternative than to contact the local and state government agencies that oversee landlord and tenant affairs."
"I just moved into my third apartment here when I should have listened to my gut and moved else where, I first moved in 2021 and it was great back then and slowly went down hill. My third apartment is by far the worse one yet from broken blinds, bedroom door does not lock and the previous resident left all kind of vitamins and supplements in the cabinets. It is a gnat infestation in this apartment along with a horrible smelling garbage disposal. I don’t even want to cook in the kitchen because of the smell and gnats. I have tried everything to get the smell to stop. The ceiling fan in the living room is suppose to be white, it is black and dirty dusty. I suffer from allergies etc So this is a health issue. One of the shelf’s in the kitchen cabinet is also broken. It’s like they take no time to fix up and inspect these apartments before moving the next person in and let’s not even talk about the lack of communication in the rental office. You have to borderline harass them to get answers. On the day of my move when I went to pick up the keys at 10:30AM I was told that they don’t do moves until after 2PM but want the keys back from the previous unit by 6PM or I’ll be charged for both units, which is fine but communicate these things. I had 0 knowledge of this. I had movers set up weeks in advance to come at 12 noon. In the days leading up to my move I had 0 communication from them I had to ask for my mailbox number as well as I still can’t access my packages in the package locker because I am sure the leasing agents forgot to set that up for me as well. For the amount of money we pay I really expected better. Also this is in reference to my CURRENT unit in 3525!"
"I moved in on June 12th of 2023 and have been experiencing so many issues ever since. 1. There is a gnat infestation in building 3554 that has not been rectified. I alerted the health department multiple times and it’s still a problem. The gnats an are coming from our vents. As we place our trash out you can tell the entire building has gnats as they swarm in the hallways. 2. None of our buildings are safe or secure as we all paid the $400 plus amenity fee and have yet to enjoy this amenity. There are break ins, kids running down the halls from other areas knocking on our doors, people checking locks, people outside smoking weed everyday. I have notified the rental office several times. 3. The Orkin associate is extremely negligent. I have herbs and plants I eat from and there was insecticide sprayed all over my plants to rectify another pests I am experiencing from another neighbors balcony. This is still an issue.4. I have hornets coming in all of my vents from the upstairs neighbors balcony that has a hornet nest inside of their wood that has not been removed. I have pictures, videos, and meetings all documented from this matter that has yet been resolved. I was told by the building manager that they would reach out to a desperate company to remove the nest. I was also told that Orkin was going to rectify the loss of my plants due to their associates negligence. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. 5. I understand living under people but my goodness all hours of the day I hear stumping and no control of kids in this building."
"Tyo waiters( leasing consultant) are a very good team and are very helpful very time punctual. The entire leasing team are on there A game. (When you try and talk about being over charged for late fees when your not late she doesn’t want to talk. The building isn’t safe or key fob / security accessible you have people that walk through the building at approximately 0200 checking doors. Have homeless and or teenagers/ adults seating in the hallways and stairways. They have nailed the hallway windows closed against fire code.)"
"Building entry doors were propped open and some just one door wide open as we drove by other buildings in route to our appointment. There should be a key fob or access to enter the general building. Everything looks unsecured except for the leasing office that was locked when we toured the community. The leasing agent mentioned trash pickup was Sunday through Friday yet on Saturday the hallways had trash cans outside apartment doors filled with trash. I had to ask the leasing agent multiple times what the trash days were because it smelled like trash has been out there for days. In the apartment, the key eye opener was the countertop area that extended into the open area that had metal edges that looked like a concern for harm with fingers and arms. Cars in the circle and yield areas zoomed by pedestrians attempting to walk in the cross walk. The leasing office was the nicest location with secured door access and home decor feeling. All these apartments should be under $1800 and below for all unit types after seeing it in person for myself. It looks very nice on the outside. Hallways on each floor are ceramic tile. Its like garden style apartments that decided to enclose the exterior stairwells, yet decide not to secure the exterior entry building doors for tenant access into living spaces and make it safe."
