"This is by far the worse hotel experience I've ever had. First off, the majority of the hotel is under construction with cigarette butts and plastic on the floors, to why they are charging full price as other hotels is beyond me. A roach was crawling on my neck when I was in bed, but to top it off, the flashing alarm system came on at 5:30am in every room and did not stop for the remaining day. I couldn't sleep, so I had to go downstairs while the fire truck was outside. I spoke to management once he came in at 9:00 am and explained to him that my room is still flashing lights. He offered to refund partial my money but here is the best part... Instead of issuing my refund amount, they Instead charged me again for the partial amount. So for this horrible experience, I paid full price plus an additional $31 dollars. I called the front desk and explained the mistake they made and they said the manager would call me the next day to fix the issue, No call. I wait 2 more days and called back. They took my name and number again and 2 more days pass and still no call, so now I'm forced to call my bank to contest the charge. Trust me when I tell you, do not go to this hotel. "Staff is amazing. The property is being renovated. You can tell the property was totally ran into the ground by previous management. I think it has great potential and is definitely worth checking out as they get more of the renovations completed. They are doing the best with what they have."

"DO NOT BOOK! I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK. I made the mistake of booking to save a little money and my experience was horrible. Location is in an scetchy area. Once we arrived to the hotel after a long day of traveling, there was a drunk homeless man laying around in front of the entrance. When we walked inside there was so much construction going on that the place should honestly be shut down. As we were walking down the hall it smelled like an ashtray, laundry room was dirty and floor fans thoughtout the hallway. Once we arrived to our room, we noticed immediately a big cockroach crawling on the wall and that was enough to send me over the edge. I only took two steps in the room, because I was so disgusted. Horrible paint job, dirty walls, just bad quality. The only pleasant part of my experience was the nice lady at the front desk, she was very understanding and refunded us our money, while trying to get us a room at the hotel across from them. Unfortunately the other hotel was booked and the only room available didn't have AC. I would rather sleep in my car than to sit down any where in that hotel."

"It was very clean, staff was super nice. But the desk with the clock and lamp didn't work because the outlet didn't work. The TV didn't work because we couldn't plug it in properly but other than that it was very relaxing and a great time away even tho I stayed in the area."

"I come to Maryland to visit family. Second time staying and worse than before. Hotel is unfinished. Half painted, furniture is piled out of the way for painting, light fixtures in boxes for installation. 2 ragged tables to eat breakfast. The floors were unkept. Vending is minimal. The desk clerk seemed bothered as I checked in and the office was a dark hole with a fan hanging from the doorway. Not sure, but seemed like there may be water damage somewhere, the way fans were placed towels and rags everywhere.Pool is closed. The room was comfortable. All mentioned is the SAME from Last Year with one exception. This year, the unattractive add-on is the infestation of roaches. Roaches met us as we entered the room. The fridge and microwave had mashed roaches in the doors. They crawled the walls, floor and even in the bed. I brought dinner(steamed crab) in the room at check-in, and the roaches actually joined me for dinner at the tables in the room and we went on a roach killing frenzy because they just kept coming. Placed my bags back in the car but had to stay. This is the worst Comfort Suites I have experienced. At check out received my receipt which looked correct. It's a week later and they have not correct the charges to my card. I was double charged a $50 deposit and then charged the price of the room plus deposit. None of the phones work at the hotel and I can not contact anyone to assist."
