"Sometimes I want to call about a product but these people never answer"
"As a 15 year neighbor I have seen Dixie decline from an established, well stocked liquor store to an empty, overpriced for what they have shell. Dixie used to have fun tastings, heck I had a shot of Ron Jeremy Rum with the man himself. It used to be fun going in there but the current guy running the place can’t be bothered to even be cordial!! I now go to Hop, Cask and Barrel and Towne as they are happy to have my business and have better prices. I live steps away and won’t go in there anymore. Sad to see for such a landmark."
"So this isn't a current review by a few decades, but I used to get kegs at Dixie when I was 18 and legal in DC but not VA. Mostly, this review is for the balls to reply to that 1 star review about price discrepancy on everclear, good on you Dixie Liquor!"
"Nice neighborhood shop. Very small selection of spirits (but they will special order upon request), but there’s a walk-in fridge for beers. I appreciated that they enforced the mask policy. I'd much prefer to support a small business like this than a mega-store, especially with competitive prices."
"I have been a loyal customer to this store for quite sometime now, especially since lockdown. This was my go to place to buy gin. The cashier was extremely rude when I accidentally walked into the store forgetting to wear my mask. Saying “Get out, go!”. I understand people are worried about the virus, but that doesn’t warrant being rude to customers. I’m sure he doesn’t care, because it’s not his business that’s losing customers. Nonetheless the owner should be aware that certain members of staff working for them have an attitude problem."
