"South Capitol Liquor store is not renovated as many small and older buildings purchased before it was renovated are everywhere in the United States of America and the world! Steve Kyong Ho Kwak is the owner and my father. He is diligent worker also and have made much efforts with his father. Washington D.C. had been renovating/updating the area but stopped in their area. It should not be renovated by the owners because small family business. The state and country should update and renovate, and provide until it is completed because tax and fees has been paid for all our lives. And people are supposed to take care for each other. Businesses especially stores for needs. Alcohol is food though not good if Used in wrong ways."
"South Capitol liquors has been a staple in our community for many, many years. They give back to the community,such as a sponsor of outdoor barbecues, Senior fashion show events, which I am the coordinator."
"This is by far, my favorite liquor store to shop. Ok the inside is a little rough,BUT the friendliness of the staff is exceptional!! Staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable. Steve is the only store in the neighborhood that sponsors a cookout every year! Hey, they are Family! They can always get my business! A little rough parking but other than that 10 stars!!!"
"Even though it's in SE it's still a business. They're suppose to have business manners and respect for the costumer. Unfortunately, they do not. You can shop here if you like bad manners & no respect. The will not. The interior is poorly kept which you can tell by the smell as you walk in. South Capitol Liquors you have lost one customer forever."
