Wedgewood Apartments

"It was ok, (not the best) at the time i lived there which was short lived and why, the owner just up and sold the building with out giving residents notice well in advance. We all had to scramble with in a two week period time frame to find a place to live, that's how long we had to choose rather we would be forced to buy into a Condo, or move so most of us choose to move. The walls are paper thin, and there were other issues with the building and nasty people living in it. Don't know what it's like now, and I certainly hope its a lot better then 10 or more years ago. There is one couple that still lives there since they choose to stay whom I admire very much, good for them. Reason for 5 star, is everything was literally at your fingertips, but other then that, neighborhood was so so. I now have a home I purchased that the Lord has blessed me with and I pay far less then I would pay for a 3 bed room apartment much less 2 bedroom. There use to be rent control until some residence destroyed and did not take care of the property and took advantage of the utilities when they saw fit so they stopped rent control which i feel they should bring back. Since the building turned Condo, they were suppose to put a washer and dryer in each unit, and install central air and heat, that was never done, so sad to say, I would not recommend this place to live. As far as I can see each time we have passed their, they are still apartments, not condos, nothing has been upgraded ."
