"I moved into this apartment in August 2023. My interaction with the leasing agents were pleasant, especially Ms. Cynithia. She was very helpful during the process. Unfortunately, prior to signing the lease, I was told that the apartment was renovated and has a washer and a dryer. However, I only saw a dryer in the unit. And I am sure they knew about this prior to me signing the lease. This is something they should have been honest about from the onset, rather than give me false or inaccurate information and allow me to sign the lease. Furthermore, even after the they sent someone two weeks ago to spray the apartment for bugs and insects, I still see cockroaches in the kitchen, living room, dining area and bathroom. The roaches are hidden within the walls, they’re in the vents in the living room, and inside the stove and vents in the kitchen. So, spraying the baseboards and inside the cabinets alone isn’t getting rid of them. I mentioned the washer and dryer to someone in the office and they told me “maybe the machine is 2-in-1, but it’s not. The fact that they don't even know and aren’t certain about what’s in the apartment tells me that (1) they most likely didn’t do a walkthrough of the apartment, or (2) they did and still chose to give out inaccurate information to a potential tenant. On top of that, within my first two weeks of living here, I experienced a hot water shut off twice (1 each week) and received no advanced notice or warning. It was only on week #4 that an email was sent out to tenants saying maintenance would be done on the pipes due to a leak, which could cause a shut off. Now, I am living here and have signed the lease. If I say I want to break my lease due to the false or inaccurate information I received from them, they’ll want me to pay 2 month’s rent as penalty. Sounds like I might have to take this to court. Had they been honest and told me the correct information in the beginning, I would not have signed the lease or moved here. I am disappointed, to say the least. Initial review posted shortly after signing my lease in August 2023. And it was updated today, 01/30/2024."
"Lived in deplorable conditions at the Glendale. I reached out to the on-site management and the corporate office with no remediation. The community is not safe and poorly maintained. If I could give zero stars I would. If you move to 9939 202... check for mouse holes and just wait for the roaches to appear. I had roaches in my fridge . The master bathroom sink was not glazed before i moved in, it took 2 months for them to get it reglazed.Just a disgusting community. Save your $$$ look elsewhere. And please don't comment to contact the office I met with the APM and the previous PM nothing was done. They don't care about resident retention just look at all the vacant apartments"
"I am a devout person, and I choose to speak from a place of love, despite the challenges I've faced during my two months here. It's been an incredibly difficult experience, and I would have preferred homelessness with my puppy over this unsafe and unlivable situation. Before I delve into the issues, I want to express my gratitude to those who tried to help, even though they didn't have the authority to do much. Thank you to Gary, the new maintenance supervisor, and to Dai, Rod, and Mr. Bary from his team for addressing my problems. I also appreciate Ms. Lakia from the leasing office for her efforts. It's disheartening to see similar negative reviews, but I feel compelled to be honest about my own experience. I've been dealing with a potentially life-threatening situation caused by bacteria, water damage, mold, and mildew under my carpet in my bedroom floor, kitchen and bathroom, with who knows where else it might be in my apartment. I'll attach images to show what I've endured for over a month, all while they were trying to hide the issue. I had to continue living in my home amidst these changes and fixes, which was incredibly challenging, especially as a starting entrepreneur who relies on a peaceful living space. I strongly advise against moving to this apartment complex to protect your health, mental well-being, finances, and time. It seems like they don't care about their residents or their homes. I informed the leasing office about how this situation was affecting my health, but they made it seem like I was being unreasonable. If I hadn't relentlessly pursued this issue, it would have taken even longer to resolve. This situation has exacerbated my health problems, including issues related to my previous brain surgery, GI tract problems, nerve pains, asthma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and OCD. I now need to use a nebulizer daily and rely more on inhalers. My sleep has been disrupted, leading to panic attacks. Paying rent for a deteriorating home and having to fight for my life is unacceptable. I noticed that they didn't conduct a thorough inspection before letting me sign the lease, despite the apartment's history of water damage and other issues. The move-in process was also problematic, with delays and issues like a broken window, missing washer and dryer, and more. I requested rent accommodations due to the damage to my belongings and the unsafe living conditions, but I haven't received a response. Their unprofessionalism includes entering my apartment without notice, last minute notices, and delayed responses to emails and issues. I paid my September rent even though I couldn't live here safely, and all I'm asking is for them to transfer it to October, along with an additional free month. It's disheartening that they seem unwilling to accommodate the consequences of their negligence. I've endured numerous inconveniences, and I advise you not to trust the leasing office's promises. Make sure to do see everything in person first, before signing. As a personal trainer focused on health, this experience has not only impacted me personally but also my business and passion. I pray that the corporate, management team, and maintenance start to work cohesively in order to make this residency a better place!"
"This has been THE ABSOLUTE WORSE place I’ve ever lived, from the ghetto rental office staff down to the maintenance sleeping with my neighbors. I moved in August 13, 2022 and made a move in list for things to be done to my apartment, move in list was never complete. Mold everywhere and the floors lifting up cutting my children. End of July I began to move out and I come back July 28 and found my belongings missing, my doors were locked so I’m 100% sure it was the maintenance and rental office staff. Funny thing is I have cameras I’m just giving them time to return my LV shoes, Doctor Martens, Alexander McQueens, Balenciaga shoes, air max and both pair of my Ugg’s and more shoes they stole. I really can’t believe I’m going through this I never thought I’d ever be robbed by rental office people lmao so ghetto. My attorney was so shocked, I’m so glad I moved and wouldn’t recommend anyone moving here, they’ll put on a good show to get you in here but it goes down hill from there. Crazy thing I know for a fact it was the maintenance man lol how could he be so dumb"
