"I wanted to share my experience living at the Chestnut Ridge Apartments through this review. Right from the start, the staff here has been exceptional in their communication, especially the Property Manager. I've been a resident at this complex since October 2023. Upon moving in, I did notice a couple of roaches scurrying around. However, after promptly informing the staff, they promptly added me to the extermination list. The team came in, sprayed, and I also took measures by using boric acid, peppermint spray (courtesy of Amazon), and gel bait. Ever since, I haven't encountered any further issues. Despite its smaller size, the apartment complex encourages resident participation in various activities, which I find fantastic. There are always flyers around about community events like outdoor movies during Halloween, Gingerbread contests, and more. The residents in my building are pleasant, and there's a commendable effort to maintain cleanliness both within the building and its surroundings. I did encounter a couple of maintenance issues, but upon reporting them online, they were promptly addressed the very next day. I absolutely adore my unit, and its proximity to everything I need is a definite bonus."

"MOVE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL! You gotta pay for your 2,000 rent then pay water, sewer and electric and renters insurance all separate! NEVER AGAIN! I’m a new tenant, I moved in three weeks ago and let me tell you this complex is bottom of the barrel! These kids smoke weed in the hallways and on the porches, and Don’t get me started on Tara the worst property manager ever. My Apartment is full of roaches, I didn’t get any built in bookshelves they rushed my apartment and wasn’t even cleaned when I moved in. Then don’t get me started on the building smelling very terrible, neighbors leave their garbage in the hallway outside of their door instead of going to the trash. This is an old apartment building and has a lot of problems. They are so busy trying to repair steps she need to repair the inside of these apartments. I think about breaking this lease so bad I hate this place. :("

"MOVE IN AT YOUR OWN RISK!! dont do it!!! Im a young woman and this is my first apartment,… terrible experience! CR Has countless roaches that will never stop coming back! Exterminator came to my apartment 4 times! They were trying to get me to sign the lease before I even saw the apartment, I came to see it for a second it looked nice so I signed it but this was the worst mistake of my life! I am so depressed and want to break this lease so bad this place is filthy! Absolutely filthy! OLD NASTY UNSAFE BUILDING! Kitchen filled with roaches as well as the bathroom you can’t even leave any food on your counter or a cup of juice, instead of repairing buildings how about you fix these apartment walls!!!"

"Omg! I moved here last year and I have nothing but good things to say about this complex. I really love that this place is really clean ...hallways to the laundry room which is really convenient and affordable. There is no rif raff and it's peaceful enough for me to sleep whether during the day or at night. Neighbors pretty much keep to themselves and that's great for me. Staff all of them....office maintenance and cleaning is great...extremely helpful. I've enjoyed living here. ☺️"

"So let's get into it, I applied online on a Saturday and not only did I get a rapid response Ms. Tara thoroughly explained the process, and scheduled a viewing for the following Monday. Even though I was running behind due to traffic, I was able to view the place even with them closing at 5pm, The grounds are well kept, and the unit was clean. By Wednesday I was signing paperwork with keys in hand.The professionalism, and customer service is exceptional Chestnut has a real gem in Ms. Tara and Ms. Silva who ensured everything was covered and any questions I had were addressed. It's the attention to detail,and smooth transition from start to finish for me, I look forward to calling this place home."
