"They're considerate in leaving your apartment dirty so you can clean it the way you'd like. Thanks for leaving dead roaches in my light fixture, I think I was the best man to take that job on. They're also pet friendly. I got plenty of roaches to keep me company. I don't mind giving up my kitchen, eating is overrated. And the a/c is ice cold, my only trade off is breathing in mold because of a/c water dripping on the ground. 5 stars; then subtract ten."

"If you are considering this apartment please don’t, this apartment is the worst I have lived in so far, so first of let get in to details, this apartment is filled up with rats little creepy mice, Cockroaches they’ve billions of them, and when it comes to bad customer service they should’ve like a five star for that because the secretary is super rude and the other ladies in there acts like they are not in that rental office to work and as far as the manager is concerned he is super creepy always trying to make the high school kids that lives in that apartment uncomfortable, he drives recklessly and he likes going up and down threatening to give people 30days eviction notice, if they try to report his bad behavior towards the tenants, and that pool they claim the apartment have, they don’t have nothing like that in the picture, first off it has been closed and it so dirty and Junkie, they don’t want to clean it neither do they plan to, so don’t even bother thinking about the fact that they have a pool cos they don’t, when it comes to fixing things they are absolutely not good at that either, first of the dishwasher in my apartment was broken and it releases the worst smell ever, the bathroom sink was blocked, it takes hours for all the water to go down after taking a birth, the shower was too old to even work, and safety is there last concern, because all the main doors in the apartment is open 24/7 there is nothing like bolts in the windows, they are open too, the only way you can feel safe is when you close your main door and even as that it’s still not safe, everything bad in a complex this institution has, so when thinking about finding somewhere safe and comfortable for you and your family please don’t consider Forest Lake."

"My parents lived here years ago (1996-2016) and I inherited the apt after they passed away. All negative reviews you have read are true!!!! Even though there is a no pet policy, since I had to live with their mice they had to live with my cat!!! Leaking ceilings, mold, out of date fixtures, no air etc. I was still complaining about the same issues my parents were after they passed. But they were ready to take you to court or evict you when you were late or didn't pay rent!!!"

"If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I have been living with mice since I moved in. I’ve called every month to have them do something about the mice. All they do is bring traps and maybe some copper if they have any left. That means there’s a mice problem on the property! They’ve only done a search and seal once after I kept complaining about seeing mice. Now I don’t even call them. I trap them myself. This summer there was no A/C for the majority of the time. I called the health department to complain of the extreme heat. The inspector came out twice and I don’t think anything was ever done. I had to purchase hotel rooms three times so that my daughters and I could be comfortable. At one point, I called the owner of the property and told him how hot it was in my apartment. His response was “well if it’s as hot as you say it is, open up a window.” Now why would I open up a window to draw more hot air into my apartment. I’ve complained to them about my kitchen ceiling leaking every time it rains. The first time, I was told they couldn’t fix it because they would need to get on the roof and it was raining. The next few times, someone came out, looked and did nothing. So now every time it rains, I record a video for my records. Take heed of my review and avoid this place! They are the worst! Even someone from maintenance told me that the property manager informs them to work on vacant apartments only to fix them up for new tenants. You will have regrets as I do, if you move here! AVOID FOREST LAKW APARTMENTS!!"
