"Worst place ever. They deserve Zero Stars. Weeks upon weeks without hot water, maintenance takes days just to show up and never fix anything. The Leasing Office along with maintenance Never answers their phone, and keep the leasing office door locked during open hours. I'd rather be homeless."

"This is an update on this place: If you hate mice, please run. The whole complex is infested. A lot of tenants have moved out because of this reason. And when you report it, they try to make it your fault. Maintenance is horrible. They have a high turn over. They care nothing about the tenants. They only care about getting rent payments. Us tenants talk and complain to each about what’s going on because we can’t do so with management. It’s sad but true. Portside apartments is a joke. I would not recommend anyone to move here. My children and I have been harassed by one of residents here. It has gotten to the point that the rental office asked me to move to a different unit to get away from this tenant. I did hoping it would help the situation. It did not help at all. This tenant still harasses not only my family but other families as well. I have police reports and even had a Peace order put on this tenant. And yet this tenant didn't care. I have been back and forth with the rental office only to be lied to about what the out come is going to be. My children can not play on the playground due this tenant and another tenant this person has gotten to harass the children as well. If you are looking for a safe place to live and where the landlord actually care, Portside Apartments is NOT the place to live. I give them two thumbs down."

"DESERVES ZERO STARS They are nothing but crooks. I have lived at portside apartments for 7 years when I first moved here habitat for humanity were the owners. Now that BCI has take over, residents have had payments stolen by staff and then subsequently evicted for non payment. As I said I lived here 7 years hence my rent hasn't increased much. But new residents sign a lease for over a thousand dollars. So now I'm having a problem with management over the noise my children make. I also babysit to make money. So now I'm being told "control your kids" because someone moved down stairs paying more than me that works at night. So I cannot live my life during the day according to my schedule. Charging that outrageous amount for shabby housing where maintenence isn't kept up on and you are treated like dirt isn't worth it. I am looking into a lawyer for discrimination. So I'm sure they won't be in business much longer."

"I've lived here for almost 4 years now and I hate it here and mainly because of management. Management changes like the seasons and they are very shady and they don't know what they are doing more then half the time. Always loosing people's rent payments. Giving court notices when not even needed. I would NOT recommend this place unless it was your last resource. Only good thing is how convenient it is to everything you need if you don't have a vehicle. Also it goes by your income and excepts vouchers/section 8."

"I wanted to write this review because I've seen a lot negative reviews about this place and so far I don't see any reason for it. I'm waiting for my background check to come back and may be moving in soon. I'd like to say that the employees that I saw that work there seem like decent people. I filled out an application, talked to one of the office workers and had a tour of the place and everything went smoothly. The inside of the apartments were very nice, and looked like they had been newly cleaned and renovated. As of right now, I have no reason to give this place a bad review. The apartments and the outside area look very well kept, the staff was polite and very helpful, and the only reason I'm not giving them a 5 star review is because I have not yet moved in, but I realy hope to soon."
