"***Update*** No one has ever contacted me about this issue, I’ve tried to get in touch with corporate, the leasing manager gave me his bosses number which her name is Nikki, I called on 10/25/2023 and spoke to Kay who is the office manager, she said she will email Nikki and I should hear back. It has literally been almost a month and still nobody has contacted me. Not only is this extremely disappointing it is unprofessional. At this point they seems to lack care or compassion to getting things corrected. I am still to this day trying to speak with someone about this issue. Todays date is 11/24/2023. ***Original post*** Extremely dissatisfied with this apartment complex. I’ve been living here for about a year now and have had nothing but issues since I moved in. First it start with when I moved in my refrigerator after the first month broke and spoiled all my food and my tub after the first shower was peeling. I had to continue to contact maintenance and the rental office to get anybody to assist. Maintenance is never around to fix anything. The latest issue is the fact that remodeling has been taking place above my head for almost a month. I work from home and the noise level , the banging, the music being played out loud has been extremely disruptive and going on all day long until after 5 pm sometimes until 6:30 pm. These workers have been here 6 days a week, Saturdays included. They come at 7:30 in the morning and do not leave until 6 in the evening. Not only was I not notified about remodeling being done, the workers that were contracted to do the work has damaged my apartment while trying to fix the apartment above me. I now have a crack in my bathroom ceiling that was leaking water and the light fixture in the bathroom was also dripping water due to whatever they were doing upstairs. I have continuously complained to the rental office several times to no avail. I have literally been living in hell for the past month due to this extreme inconvenience. What makes matters even worse is that nothing is being done and nobody knows anything. The workers that have been doing the remodeling does not speak English so I cannot communicate with them. When I have spoken with their supervisor he has ensured two weeks ago they were only going to be remodeling for the next two days. I’ve been back and forth with the rental office and there is a big miscommunication with them and these contractors. They are telling them one things and doing another. They were suppose to fix my ceiling they damaged on Friday 10/16/2023, nobody ever came and nor was I notified they weren’t coming. This is the biggest inconvenience I have ever incurred on something I pay my money for. I pay for my home to have peace and serenity and I have not been able to have any of that for the past month."
"Place is small, but the neighborhood is quiet, my apartment is nice. I had a very pleasant move in experience with Sharina in the office she was very professional and very detail oriented. I could tell she actually cares about the tenants. I definitely am happy with my choice."
"Sharina has been one of the best property mangers that I have work with from move in date till now. She's always quick to respond to an issues I have with my unit. She really cares about the residence in Pengea I looking forward living here she has made this process easy and smooth for me. Thank you"
"I've been a resident of Pangea Springs in Dundalk for 3 years and have had a great relationship with the office until they came under new management this last year and have had nothing but problems! I've been late on the rent lately after being car jacked and have had financial difficulties due to it and I understand its my responsibility to pay ontime and do get the balance paid within a month. Before I would get notices of my past due balance and if an eviction has been filed but they were always professional and respectful. Now theres nothing professional about this Ms.Davis. I get threats constantly of NRR and have even been told its already been filed and to turn my keys in and it turned out to be a lie and a scare tactic to get me to bring in money-which is illegal. I recieve harassing emails constantly which I believe is in an effort to make me uncomfortable enough to just vacate. I spent hours the other day trying to turn almost $900 in money orders to stop an eviction and I got an email demanding that I put it in the mail slot in the office door. When I said that I felt more comfortable turning it in in person i got the response and i quote " put it in the slot now! " -how rude! Ive emailed the CEO of the company twice (Peter Martay) and have gotten no response or acknowledgment of my concerns. Honestly my intention was to improve the tenant landlord relationship but they dont seem to have much interest in that. I have even had a $300 payment just disappear! Luckily I still had the message that they received my payment or I would have been out $300! Dont get me started on the roaches!!!! If I were you id stay away! And if you do decide to live here, keep all your receipts as well as messages and emails for your own protection and rent at your own risk!"
"The apartment complex seemed great, convenient and very clean - which initially made me fill out an application. However, after paying my application fee and turning in all my proof/documents in, I have not heard from anyone. Also, the apartment I wanted to sign a lease for, has been given to someone else and no one contacted me to let me know. I had to find out by re-checking their website and seeing only one apartment available (which wasn't the one I applied for). It's a shame because I was interested, but now I think I'm going to look elsewhere. The lack of communication is odd, especially after having a conversation at first with someone. Hopefully you have better luck with these people."
