BLVD at Reston Station

"Moved in recently, elevator panels don’t even function. You have to punch the screen to get the buttons to even work. A pipe burst one week after we moved in and they had to fumigate 6 floors of the building. This is new construction, mind you. Additionally, the building construction crew tracked mud through the entire lobby. Then, someone stole/misplaced my wife’s package and the building has no hallway surveillance so we were unable to find it. We’ve only been here a month, but this is an awful start."

"BLVD is such a commuters dream. Their team is super responsive and accommodating. Look forward to living here for the next year! Only downside is the construction. But if you are headed to work throughout the day you’ll be fine! And there is no work on the weekends it looks like !!"

"Hands down the best apartment I’ve EVER stayed in. Concierge knows everyone by name and they’re always there, always helpful. 24 hour help is so appreciated. I once needed a wine opener in the middle of the night that concierge let me borrow. In addition, they’re are so great at communicating and very quick with repairs. Trish is the GREATEST property manager I’ve ever worked. The whole team is awesome but she is hands down top tier. She goes above and beyond. The view is amazing and the amenities are great. Only con is construction noise."

"I have lived at the BLVD for over two years now. I know people only post bad reviews, so I am going to post a great one - because that is how I feel about this place! I am so thrilled to live here. It has one of the most gorgeous set of amenities I have ever seen. The builders took a lot of care into thinking about how their residents would want to live. Just walk in during the warmer months, and it's like a little spot of heaven at the rooftop pool or the courtyard. However, this place wouldn't be as spectacular if it wasn't for its staff. Hands down, Erin Masters and her staff are the primary reason this place has maintained its high standard of living. Think about it - Erin deals with all of the problems all day long, handles all the complaints from residents, yet she is the one at almost every customer appreciation day, pouring the wine, handing out the food, interacting with guests, and going above and beyond to solve all those little inconveniences or bigger issues that residents have. If it wasn't for her, this place would not run as smooth and professional. I have lived in nice places and the staff make the biggest difference. She handles SO much! And she does it while caring for you and everyone around her. Honestly, she is amazing (and her staff!). That culture of service her and her team have created is one of the biggest reasons living here is absolutely incredible. I mean, you have a 24 hour concierge(s) that actually WANTS to help you! It feels like you are at a 5 star hotel... daily! If you have a bad attitude or don't appreciate/feel gratitude toward the hard working people here put in to making your life better, I hope you choose another building. All the slight inconveniences do not outweigh all the amazing experiences I have had with this building and the staff over the last two years! Thank you once again for all of your hard work! This place is a NOVA dream!"

"I waited to write a review until I was here several months (six to be exact), so I'm happy to report positive news. BLVD is the best apartment building I've lived in and the staff has been excellent. No apartments are without their periodic maintenance issues or headaches, but the staff (both leasing and maintenance) work their butts off to get things taken care of ASAP. The folks at the leasing office have been extremely helpful and responsive, and Amber (leasing) and Sam (front desk) are absolute standouts. If worried about the construction noise across the street, make sure and ask for a west facing apartment and it will be perfectly quiet. Neighbors on all sides of the unit can barely be heard due to the concrete construction between the apartments. If you're on the fence about where to live in the Reston/Herndon area, take the plunge. BLVD is a great value and will be tough to beat."
