"I have lived here for three years now and moved internally from one of their spacious studios (730sqft) to their extremely spacious one bedroom unit (1100sqft). I chose to stay in this building because they offer one of the best values for the size of apt and location, the management is very responsive and prompt with work requests. There has recently been a lot of construction and resulting noise but it has been tolerable."
"My partner and I moved in about a month ago despite seeing the reviews about the garage. Honestly I don’t know what all the fuss was about. They gave us a parking pass that works in any public parking garage in the county for the duration… so now when I go grocery shopping my parking is also paid for. Seems a more than worthy trade off for walking a block back to the lobby, and if you have groceries you can pull up and unload before parking so you don’t have to walk the block with all your bags. The public garages are super close and the area is very walkable and safe. There’s a farmers market 2 blocks away every Sunday, the pool is amazing, the building is very clean and full of wonderful people. The community in the area is so wonderful. I have had a wonderful experience this month which caused us to decide to extend our lease to 2 years. Also the price for the space and amenities is AMAZING… highly recommended place to move to. Get the luxury of Bethesda without the hurt to your wallet. 5 stars from us, thanks so much to everyone in management and maintenance for being so helpful and kind."
"I've been at Triangle Towers for a couple years and while not perfect, it's been a great place to call home. The management has always been available and worked with me to make sure I was getting what I needed. However, the best part about this building is the amazing maintenance staff. Whenever I've had an issue or problem, they've always swiftly fixed it. I put in a maintenance request 30 minutes ago and they are currently in my apartments addressing it as I type. The building has been taking steps in the last few months to upgrade the facility and make sure it's a great place to live going forward. While the current construction on the garage is inconvenient, sometimes large projects just have to happen not only for function and aesthetics, but for safety."
"Entire garage is shut down for six months (!!) from June to November 2023, and all residents must park in public parking, with no reduction to the monthly parking fee ($150) despite the (major) inconvenience. This option was chosen over shutting down the garage in sections over the course of 12 months, allegedly to “minimize disruption to residents.” Residents must now pick up county parking passes on the first of the month, each month, or risk getting a ticket from the city (which will not be reimbursed). Ridiculous decision by Southern Management Company, which potential tenants may want to consider before signing a lease — particularly given that there will be (very loud) construction occurring for the foreseeable future, which can be heard throughout the building. There are a lot of other options (with better management) in Bethesda. I will be moving elsewhere at the end of my lease. Do not recommend."
"Management's disregard for current residents is shocking. Shortly after completing a month long and extremely loud balcony project, management has decided to redo the parking garage which is expected to be 6 months of loud construction noise with no input from residents. We still pay the same parking fees, but are not longer able to park in our own building. Management has been condescending and unhelpful (which is par for the course as I've had to get my rent corrected ~10 times having lived here for under 3 years). The only positive about this building is it's location. There are never 4 working elevators and the gate to the garage has never worked."
