"I've had an okay experience in the past getting my medication from this particular Walgreens. Recently, a pharmacist or tech by the name of Vincent has helped me sort out my medication costs and locations of pickup when I needed to move around on short notice. I'm impressed with the quality of care and attention to detail when interacting with me as a patient/customer. I hope he continues to work at this location. Thanks for the great work."
"Update June 2023- Called in two prescriptions, one week goes by, receive a voice message “your prescription will be ready next week”. Another week goes by, silence. Went into the store and asked about the two outstanding prescriptions, “ they are here, give us 30-minutes, an hour goes by. I said I’ll come back tomorrow. Four hours later I get a text “your prescriptions are ready for pickup “. Confusing messages, bad communication, no attention to what’s in or out. Be very mindful of your medication refills, could take much, much longer than you anticipated at Walgreens, Silver Lake Blvd. Customer service when using the Walgreen pharmacy is subpar, at best. Poor communications when refills are ready or if out of stock or just missing because of low attention and caring levels. If three prescriptions are called in at the same time two will be ready and the third, just not done and for no apparent reason. You’re not told a prescription is out of stock, or unavailable, no information until you question it. Then it’s a scramble to provide an answer. Misleading text messages for prescription refills. I would not sign up for the text messaging, or approach with caution, far too many are received with inaccurate information. The phone answering system is overly long winded when wanting to refill a prescription. It's painful listening to every single option before getting to refill a prescription or speak with the pharmacy which is probably why a person would call. Some staff in the pharmacy are very helpful, knowledgeable and are victims of Walgreens ("Boots Alliance") poorly ran business model and computer system that takes the workers forever to get you out the door or through the drive up window. Other staff in this store, absolutely do not belong working with the public. Rite Aide's system wasn't perfect, but was far superior to Walgreens. This close by drug store is steadily going down hill."
"I came to this Walgreens location today (4/8/23) around 9:05pm. I was buying pampers for my baby, the cashier in the front, an Asian woman I did not catch her name, said, "You look too young to be a father. " I hope management or some kind of higher up sees these reviews because that is not what customers come to your store for. We're just coming to shop"
"Their pharmacy is the last place to get a prescription filled. I’ve never experienced such a rude, unprofessional, confused staff. I was once given someone else’s prescription! This is so unsafe and annoying because I had to later come back to get my actual prescription."
"Worst Walgreens Pharmacy experience I have had. My clinic selected this Walgreens and sent the prescription. About an hour later I arrive and offer the pharmacist my written prescription and she says she doesn’t need it. She checks the system and says she doesn’t see the prescription and told me to call the clinic. 5 minutes later on hold with my clinic I ask the pharmacist why she won’t take my written prescription at which points she takes it and says it will be ready in the late afternoon. About 15 minutes after I leave, the prescription is ready. Do they think people can’t wait 15 minutes? Such a waste of time especially when you need medications in a timely manner. Skip this Walgreens!"
