"I lived at 106 university west for 4 years. The property manager is Dominique is great and responsive. The place is clean and the maintenance does a great job. I highly recommend the apartment."
"Lived here for 2 years. The apartment is new, and the leasing office staff is always actively helping me with any problems. The maintenance staff also comes in a timely manner to fix any issues. Happy with my time here！"
"this place has the worst management and you can never reach them when you want to. The management office call at the front goes straight to disconnection. I had to pick up some packages that were wrongly delivered and it led to a very frustrating episode that required 3 visits. It's impossible to get in the building because office only has one person and she "takes breaks" randomly to step out without any notice for 40 minutes + at a time. Incompetent, unprofessional, and rude. Do not be tempted by cheap rent price and ruin your year by staying here."
"Highly recommend! I've had such a pleasant experience at Univ. West. Here's the pros: super close proximity to Hopkins campus and nearby shopping center with restaurants, new appliances/renovations, cute and spacious apartments with hardwood floors (some have in-unit W/D), affordable rent, very safe location that’s surrounded by Hopkins security, responsive maintenance staff, and management is really friendly. I've honestly really enjoyed my stay here. Before moving in, I looked at all the other apartments this close to campus and none of them compared in terms of quality or price. 5/5 stars."
"I lived here for two years. This place is HORRIBLE. To begin, the housing company will find any reason to take your money. The office will tell you you're getting a great deal, but in reality the apartments are ALWAYS overvalued and on top of that, you're constantly being hit with fees and fines. And the employees in the office always tell you they're doing you a favor by removing one unnecessary fee and still charging you for the rest, just so you can feel like they are good people (hint hint: the only nice one is Nancy, and even she can be incompetent sometimes). THE HOUSING COMPANY WILL NOT GIVE YOU BACK YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT. They always find a reason to keep it. Maintenance does not ever get done when you need it done. Laundry is expensive for no reason. If you are looking for a nice apartment with a nice living experience, DO NOT LIVE HERE, or with Maryland Management Company at all if possible."
