"Great place to live! The concierge is very friendly and always addresses resident concerns"
"I just want the large whole in front of my door fixed. It's been there since I moved here in February and I've submitted several requests. Such an eyesore for such apartment building and dangerous for my grandson who visits frequently. Otherwise, the location is very safe and secure; Clean common areas and building. It's a prime location in the city especially for tourists so it can be very busy and noisy at times. I love the scenery and convenience to school, work and all of the major downtown attractions. Conversations and walking are easily heard from neighbors due to the old building structure."
"I am a medical professional who moved to the city in late 2021. I first lived in the Domain APTs & then the Eden APTs bc it’s closer to work. In May 2023, I moved to the Promenade for the more competitive price. I am writing this review as a warning.Although the decor is fancy, this place is a hollow shell. 5/2023 not move in ready: Many electrical outlets didn’t work. All sinks were not draining. Funky smell in bathroom (still funky). Floor was dirty. Blinds were ripped and caked with dust. I started to get hives and asthma exacerbations. Inevitably, I hired someone to help me clean. The staff helped me fix some issues, cleaning some blinds, and replacing a set of broken blinds for new ones (not all broken blinds were replaced). 7/2023: The AC problem: I have been quite miserable. When I arrive home after work, I usually try to crank up my AC at approximately 3-6pm. No matter how cold I set my AC, the temperature doesn’t budge, even 5 hours later! (~700sq ft) It stays above 82. The only time the temperature will cool is when it cooler outside (78 if I’m lucky). I sent requests to fix this problem a few times and I am still trying to get help to get this problem fixed. Update: AC still doesn’t work efficiently. I’ve come to accept that I practically don’t live with AC but pay similar electric rates as if I do have functioning AC. (100-200/mo for a ~700sq ft apt) 7/2023 Rude customer service: I called the emergency line without answer around 7:30p for a jammed front door. I left several VM messages but never had a return call. I spoke to neighbors who says they rarely get an answer at the emergency line. So I went to the front desk where I encountered staff who was frankly…rude, out-of-line, and unprofessional. When the staff called the emergency line, the on-call staff actually answered their phone right away (no voicemail!). On-call staff eventually came to barge open my door at a little over 12a. I complained to staff the next day about the rude front desk staff, but there has been no reprucussions for this staff member. Additionally, my door frame has been mangled and bent since then and has yet to be fixed. Update 9/2023: no reprucussions were made. Rude abacus staff member is still here. The door is still mangled and hasn’t been fixed.(See photo) Still untouched. 7/2023 Unreliable garage door: The car/garage door tends to stop working even with the entrance pass. It happens randomly. When this happens I cannot get out of the garage (or in the garage) and it takes nearly 15-30 minutes for a parking attendant to let me in/out. This has made me late and miss appointments. I spoke to staff but just gave me a new pass (still don’t know the cause). At this point, I mostly walk & bike to work bc of this. The parking attendant, who works for Harbor East (not promenade), has told me that this happens to many residents (other residents have confirms that this happens often), has been present for a few years, and yes, also has yet to be fixed. Update 9/2023: it happened a fourth time. The door opens now but awaiting for it to break again. And yes, I was 1 hour late for work and another time missed an appointment. 8/2023 Flooding #1: my closet BR carpet is soaked. This is likely where my hives and wheezing is coming from. This is not surprising as there were dehumidifiers in the halls ~1-2mo ago from water damage for about 2wks. (See video) I made a decision today that I am going to leave this facility about 4 months into my >12 mo lease. I lived in 5 cities and >10 complexes in a 12 year span. This is a first. Domain & Eden are far better managed and maintained APTs. 9/2023 Flooding #2: There was a thunderstorm and the hallway closet with the water heater began to spew brown, foul smelling fluid. I hope it isn’t excrement. (See photo)"
"I moved in several weeks ago and everything has been great so far. I was assisted throughout the move in process 100% With management’s communication and diligence, everything ran smoothly (Special shout out to Julia and Tyler!!) I requested a cosmetic repair that was done in just a couple of days. Building is in a good area with pleasant neighbors, and always appears clean and quiet."
"So far so good! The maintenance has been completing my requests and the building management has been friendly and responsive. The hallway is always clean and decorated for holidays and the concierge is very nice. It can be loud outside the building, especially in the bedroom where the whole wall is made out of windows but I guess that comes with living along a major city street."
