"I’m new to Baltimore and should be moving in on Thursday, but I wanted to leave an early review because of how pleasant the process for renting at the Eden has been. I’ve toured a decent amount of places from B-More to Columbia, Ellicott City, Laurel, and more. For the most part, all of the properties I’ve seen were well managed, and the tours were good, minus the two apartments I unsuccessfully tried to tour in Fells Point managed by Chasen Reality. The choice of where to live was a difficult one for me. I’d spent a month before getting here window shopping apartments, but actually I had not heard of the Eden until I was walking by and just happened to poke my head in. It took no time at all after entering the property for the assistant property manager, David Homere, to show me around and match me with the ideal floor plan. It was this tour that completely sold me on living here. Plenty of places I had toured had nice amenities and a friendly staff, but none were to the level I experienced at the Eden. It was the sense of community and professionalism I experienced while touring with David that ultimately was the deciding factor for me. I’ll likely leave another review after I’ve lived there for awhile, but i am confident my time there will be great. I’m entirely sold"
"The Eden is a wonderful place to live. The Team is always there if a question comes up or and issues. The Eden has wonderful socials for the tenants, Breakfast, Pizza parties etc.The Gym is spacious and very clean, I always enjoy the beautiful pool and outdoor area. The business center has everything you need. The view is the best"
"The bad: The Eden has been a great place to live for the past 3 years however the quality of service, communication, and overall feeling of safety has been on the decline. When we moved in, the main day and night concierge staff were EXCELLENT, especially the night concierge. When he was working you knew that not one single person would be let into the building until it was verified that they should be here. Now - 90% of the time the rotating staff of concierge at night don't even bother to look up and greet you as you walk by because they're too busy watching videos on their phones/talking in their phones etc. Beyond that, I have sent emails to the office staff on a few occasions in the last 6 months and NEVER received a response. Very disappointing. This however is NOT a deal breaker for us. All of the good outweigh the bad for us. You’ll have to decide how you feel about that all yourself. The good: The community amenities are wonderful if you’re into using them! The garden level has grills and tables/chairs to eat at. There is a grassy area to play yard games or let your kiddos burn off energy. There are a couple of seating areas with patio furniture and a fire table. The gym is always functional - I have yet to see a piece of equipment out of order. It’s clean and has a good variety of options for equipment. The pool is on the rooftop. Is on the smaller side but provides an excellent area to relax, soak in the rays, take a dip too cool off. The maintenance staff are EXCELLENT. Very friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. Our issues have always been fixed right the first time. The gals who are in charge of cleaning all the common areas - gym, business center, hallways, building entry etc. are PHENOMENAL!! We have been fortunate as well in that we live on a floor where our direct neighbors are long timers too so not a lot of changeover which is nice. It's awesome to have garage parking and there is always ample parking. We do a tandem space and it works well for us due to working from home. As for the apartment itself: the windows are floor to ceiling and make up our entire south and west walls but are drafty. The kitchen is small but sufficient. We love having a 2bd/2ba as we work from home and this works perfectly for us. Love that the only carpet is in the bedrooms. Love that we were able to install a ceiling fan in our bedroom. We only share one wall with another apartment and rarely hear anything from those neighbors. We do OFTEN hear our neighbors above us however and it's terribly loud due to the hard surface floors. We live in an end unit so there is little to no hallway noise heard inside our apartment. And the patio!!! We LOVE our patio, and the water view!! All in all - we moved here in the midst of the pandemic (Aug 2020) and got a deal on our rent which has only increased 1 time. Even at the increased price (meaning going rate today, not the prices we pay) I would consider The Eden great value. The convenience of Whole Foods and Bin 604 right next door as well as the proximity to Fells Point, Harbor Point and Inner Harbor are huge pluses and makes it pretty easy to tolerate any of the negatives I listed."
"I’ve lived at the Eden for 2.5 years and we had changes to our property management team a year ago. I’m annoyed with myself for waiting a year to write this, but I’ve been surprisingly so satisfied with the new team considering my not so good luck with other teams. I wanted to specially mention Natalia. I’m sure being a property manager and managing expectations of the residents can always be tough, but she has never let that show to her residents. She has been tremendously helpful throughout my lease renegotiations, has always provided timely responses to emails, worked out solutions to keep the residents (me) satisfied and happy and has always acted in the best interests of the residents. It makes your stay much easier and more welcoming when you have a property manager like her, and who always has a smile on her face when she’s talking to you. Thank you again!"
"Spent 30 days here and was not disappointed at all. What I liked about my stay here: 1. Good and friendly people in the building 2. Good views 3. Friendly reception staff 4. Good mail management system 5. Good gym and club house 6. Great events like Breakfast Mondays, wine Wednesday etc.. 7. Communication centre has 4 functional PCs and printer at No cost for members. What could be improved; 1. HVAC system needs upgrade as the cooling and heating is not efficient. 2. Beverage machine should not be timed, can be 24/7 Nothing can be done about below; 1. Noise from Traffic, Blaring siren of Ambulance and Fire department can surely wake you at mid night 2. Smoke from generator of restaurant from next building - on the east side of the building there's a restaurant which would start it's diesel generator which would blow smoke from terrace and most of the time wind will throw it towards the building thus enjoying the view from patio or opening the window won't be possible. 3. H&S bakery is a block away thus you shall surely get the smell of bread being baked. In case if u do not like such smell then you should think twice before signing lease here. Overall the location of this place is good and is very close to food joints, whole foods, CVS, fells point and Wells Fargo Bank is downstairs!"
