"I only suggest moving here if you’re used to living with roaches, having a kitchen sink without a food processor and having showers with inconsistent water temperatures. Or if you've lived in Baltimore your whole life and are used to subpar living arrangements. I was extremely excited to move here at first glance but within a week of me moving there were massive roaches. The Property Manager Danora will tell you that there isn’t a roach problem but there’s pest control that comes every two weeks. Because I know I’m not dirty and if I have roaches then other people must be experiencing the same problem. So I asked FOUR of the other residents do they have roaches and they said that they did but they were used to living with them so they don’t complain. These residents mind you live in different buildings as me. There are other reviews that mention roaches so heed our warnings. At first I thought it was cute that they give you a toilet plunger but then I quickly learned that it’s because you’ll probably need it. I’ve had to plunge the kitchen sink three times before I gave up on cooking and doing dishes in my house. I had to get maintenance to come and plunge the kitchen sink once. I haven’t taken a shower once without the water temperature going frigid cold in the middle of it. Washing my hair has been a nightmare. AGAIN, the property manager Danora will gaslight you into thinking you’re the only one. But after speaking with Wayne, the service manager, He said "it's the older buildings that's just how it is". He then informed me that the whole building runs on one water heater, which can sometimes cause these issues. He suggested changing my bathing routine so I wouldn’t run into these problems. There’s a cast iron furnace that emits radiating heat so in the in between season with fluctuating temps- the heat is unbearable. Theres no AC so you have to keep your windows open. There’s ONE outlet in the entire outdated kitchen and there’s no microwave. If your neighbors smoke… anything the smell will permeate into your apartment. I had to pay $2000 to get out of my lease after a month of living there. I was prepared to fight it with lawyers, the health department etc; but my mental health is more important than money. I just hope whoever reads this doesn’t make the same mistake as me. I moved here in hopes of saving money but in the end all I got was a mental breakdown, and a decrease of savings. Don’t move here it’s not worth it. **i wish that I could post the pictures of the massive cockroaches."

"I truly have enjoyed my time at Falls Court Apartments. The staff are great and respond whenever you’re in need of help. Especially the maintenance man Wayne. He’s very experienced and a friendly presence on the property. As a lifelong Baltimore resident, I can comfortably say that this is one of the safest parts of the city you can live in as well, and the rent rates are good too. 6 stars if I could!"

"Unfortunately I ended up not being able to move into due to interpersonal reasons. Which was a shame, since besides for the apartment being nice, the staff was so accommodating, and offered so much that I'm sure I would've been very comfortable here. I could tell that they genuinely cared about the residents and tried their best to work with them, which is hard to find. Brittany in particular was extremely helpful- she gave fast and thorough responses to all of my questions, made sure I was aware of all of my options, and offered personal input in narrowing down a place. All especially impressive during this COVID-19 crisis. If you're looking for an affordable apartment in Hampden, I think this is your most reliable bet."
