Towncrest Apartments and Townhomes 17500 Towne Crest Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877

"This review is long overdue. I stayed here for almost 3 years and went through 3 different managers. The first one in 2019 was great but the other 2 and especially the current manager is not good. The only 2 good things about the apartments are the space you get ( Very spacious) and the location. They had rats which chewed up the wires in my car, mold in the apartments, the walls are paper thin, the management is asleep behind the wheel and the manager is unprofessional and runs the place like a slum lord. I never missed any rent payment and they still filed an eviction order against me. I sometimes regret not taking them to court over retaliatory eviction. Pro tip: to anyone living here, please do your due diligence and read and understand the tenant righs. To anyone reading this review or current resident: you can always call 311 to file a complaint with the montgomery county if you are being wronged by the apartment complex or if they will not respond to your maintenance requests in a timely manner. I have done that in the past and i wish i knew about this earlier."

"I don't recommend these places, the office lady doesn't answer and they don't fix anything, everything is old, they're only good for sending out fine papers. I haven't had my kitchen fixed for more than a year and I've been here for almost 5 years, it's a waste of a place."

"This was the most dirtiest place ever they have raccoons and rats running around at night outside they have the trash bin filled to the tip top the landlord sends the maintenance People to your house to walk Around and send her pictures on the low they always come in the the house with tools and never use them don’t even fix anything paint over mold overall this is a really bad place to live and i don’t recommend this place for anybody."

"While in the process of trying to get paperwork done, unfortunately there have been many hiccups on the Tennant side. Management and interns have been so kind and graciously working their best with us Tennant's allowing us the extra time needed and because of they're humanity in understanding, unlike many other places who simply see you as a source of income, we are able to continue the process and cannot wait to be a part of this community !!"

"This is the best place to live for those needing plenty of room period. Rooms are large enough for all your furniture and more. Maintenance is very courteous and they respond in a timely manner. Management will go out of their to meet all your needs."
