"This four star review is for Tony & the rest of the maintenance crew. They are very respectful. Effectively communicate and explain everything in detail of what’s happening with your apartment. They need a raise!!! It’s more convenient to talk with them as opposed to trying to call Karen at the rental office. She’s absolutely obnoxious and cuts you off when you are talking. As for the front office staff. I would give a 2 star rating. Karen is very condescending and given the other reviews I wouldn’t be surprised if she is racist. What I will say is, when I advocated for maintenance to check the air filters because my air wasn’t working and because my daughter has asthma and was having a flare up, she refused to hear me out and proceeded to have a power struggle. She never called them and assumed it was an issue that couldn’t be addressed that day. Just because you’ve been at Columbia Glade for 60 years as a Leasing Agent doesn’t mean you know how to do a maintenance job. During this scenario Tony went above and beyond and behold it was the filters. But if it was up to Karen, she would have made me wait 3-4 days without air just for an air filter. As for the upkeeping of the property, there is molded and rusty pipes and you can smell it as soon as you run water. Apartments are outdated and can use some renovations. Otherwise, the community of folks is great. Very quiet and peaceful. No break ins to my knowledge. It definitely balances out the negativity from the rental office staff."

"Moved into this place two years ago during Covid time when rent for a 2bed was a few hundred dollars less than the current price. They can’t legally increase my rent to the current market price so they have been trying to get us out of the apartment. Tried on multiple occasions make us pay for repairs in my apartment for a leaking washer(Karen asked me to call my renters insurance to pay for repairs)had my ac down for upto 10days telling me they are waiting for parts. Now they are trying to justify eviction because of smoke detectors going off. This management is not inclusive to all races please reconsider looking elsewhere."

"I asked for top floor before I move in, due to my work schedule. Unfortunately I was disappointed after moving in and find out someone is moving above me like elephant all night long. I can't wait to finish this contract and get out of here. Maintenance(0) Hospitality(0) . Rent is too high for this. Plumbing(0) Water runs slow. I don't recommend this place to anybody. I regret why I moved here. Not happy."

"Columbia Glade was an amazing place to live for me and my boyfriend. Paul and Tony from maintenance are super friendly and approachable, and our maintenance issues were always promptly addressed. Karen is professional and very good at communicating promptly too. And last but not least, Emily in the leasing office is one of the sweetest people ever, and was always happy to answer any questions we had. The location and neighborhood are awesome—and the Amazon lockers are a plus. Highly recommend Columbia Glade!"

"Columbia Glade took over this section of apartments from a much better company called Avalon. We're almost 2 months into the change and there are still no recycle bins throughout the community, which disappeared right before the switch. Maintenance does not value your time, I received a 'sorry we missed you' notice claiming they would return the following day at noon. I took off and waited all day, they never came. UPDATE: Every apartment received a "community update" commending the community's enthusiasm for recycling but chastising the amount of contaminated recycling the community has received. THERE ARE STILL NO RECYCLE BINS. Update 12/3/18 4:00 PM post property owner reply Of course I used my regular account which includes posting under a nickname. Residents should not have to fear any sort of retaliation, and therefore should not have to be looked up in a database. It is clear that someone was curious as to who I was. It is also clear from the content of the review that I am in fact a resident. I have pointed out not only lack of recycle bins in the community, but also notices that were posted to residential doors. This company should be more concerned with improving itself, and less with figuring out who is leaving reviews. I do not want to speak to a manager, I want real improvement. Pro Tip: Start with recycle bins. Update 3/4/19 Another user replied that "because we were Avalon we have access to the amenities" this is true, as previous Avalon tenants we do in fact have access to these things, however, new residents, as well as when contracts are renewed these amenities are not continued because they do not belong to Columbia Glade. Additionally they state that there was no recycling under Avalon, this is false. The property was sold during my second year here. From the day I moved in to shortly before the transition was announced to residents (after it went through) there were recycle bins at both dumpster sites nearest to my building. The resident also claims to have been here 4 months, placing them sometime in December or so which would be around the time of my previous update, indicating they arrived after the transition."
