"Newly renovated rooms, friendly staff and privacy where exactly what we needed for a couple's weekend getaway. Not a hotel by any means, this is a country in and a worthy experience."

"Booked the C- presidential grand spa suite for special occasion. The room did not have electricity to the microwave, mini fridge and one whole side of the room. Shower door off the hinges spider webs all inside, shower floor stained. The jacuzzi tub was the most disgusting - rust on the drain, browning jets but worst of all SPIDERS all over! When I confronted the front desk she said it had just been cleaned. Impossible! There were so many webs and different types of spiders. I started to clean it myself but just could not bring myself to do it. Had to leave to stay somewhere else so dissapointed! I was told they couldn't do anything to accommodate me since I signed into the room. So proceed with caution! I wouldn't suggest it until they make upgrades!"

"The ladies at the front desk, Cheryl and Veda, were super sweet and helpful. I was given a brown bag with two days' worth of breakfast and snacks, since no restaurants were nearby and no meals were provided at or by the hotel. I took the least expensive room for $176.00. This was a 13-step walk downstairs to the basement, to a windowless room. The microwave and fridge did not work. To eat the oatmeal I'd been given for breakfast, I was forced to get hot water from the bathroom sink. I was told that rooms are cleaned only every three days; I had to ask for fresh towels and washcloths. Overall, the place was cozy and felt more like staying in a private home than a hotel. It was not within walking distance of any store or restaurant and is not handicapped-accessible. It wasn't a great value for the price."

"Quaint Air B&B. We were there for a family wedding and had rented the entire house. Some rooms are fabulous while other need a lot of work. The outdoor decks are in need of serious maintenance. Many appliances in the kitchen didn’t work. The refrigerator does not maintain its temperature. The steps in front of one of the outdoor unit are completely broken and dangerous. There is a lot of room for improvement."

"Upon initial view of this hotel online it appears as a dream come true for couples. I paid close to $400 for a lack luster experience to say the least. It was additional 80 for the shampoo and rose pedals. The rose pedals were fake and the shampoo suck so that was down the drain. The hotel room is fine but there was trash left from previous guest. The Hot tub in our bathroom was by far the biggest let down.. it didn’t work lol. I understand the owner of the mansion just wanted to turn it into a hotel to pay the mortgage but dam. For the amount of money my stay cost the experience was not what I expected. 2/5 rating but the people at the front desk was nice though for whatever that’s worth"
