"I’ve been a patient of Dr Bannan’s for many years, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I get, and Dr Bannan has always been very professional & very nice. I just had both cataracts removed. The surgeries were a breeze & I can now see without the glasses I’ve been wearing for almost 50 years. His staff is wonderful as well. A+++++!!!!!"
"I trust Dr Bannon with my eyesight. We are truly fortunate to have him. I was practically blind and now have 20/20 vision. Wonderful, accommodating staff! GOD bless you all!"
"Dr. Bannan and his staff are awesome! Questions and concerns are always answered promptly, wait time for office visits and scheduling appointments is minimal, and everyone is friendly! This review is for the Bellaire office as well and also Dr, Pickens!"
"Dr. Bannan performed laser cataract surgery on both my eyes using the laser technique in 2019. I have been totally satisfied with the results. My vision was corrected for distance. I have a prescription for reading. Without glasses, my distance vision is 20/20 in the right eye and 20/25 in the left eye. That's not enough to make much of a difference. He is always available in the event of any questions or problems."
"I would NEVER recommend Dr. Raymond Bannon. He implanted a lens in my eye to replace a cataract that was for distance after I explicitly told him I wanted to be able to read without glasses. After the surgery he stated that "It must have been a misunderstanding" He then said that the only option to read without glasses was mono vision. He had me wearing one contact in the eye that did not have surgery. This was very difficult to do as I had told him that I could not wear contacts. By trying to do this, I had severe headaches and my eye was extremely irritated. I tried numerous times to get him to return my calls to discuss the matter and his office personnel kept telling me he would call me. He did not return my calls. Also when I was in Pre-op, he was to inform the staff to not give me an Intravenous catheter and to give me the liquid Versed. This was because of a serious psychological condition I have regarding IV catheters. the day of the surgery, the nurse came in and tried to insert an IV catheter that caused me a great deal of anxiety. He said that his office staff had not relayed the message. They then gave me liquid versed and administered too much. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIM AND I ADVISE ANYONE WHO GOES TO HIM TO HAVE A PATIENT ADVOCATE WITH YOU THE ENTIRE TIME IN THE VISITS AND IN PRE OP."
