"Horrible experience at ER. staff acted like they were at a party, including doing procedures on me that were meant for a different patient. The only professional staff were the x-ray tech and the doppler tech. I ended up writing a letter to the President and he had someone call me who only made excuses. Sad but true."
"The best mental hospital I've ever been to! All of the staff were extremely kind, showed that they genuinely cared about all of the patients, and interacted with us outside of their required duties (got a few of them to play Rummy with me and some others). Additionally, I liked that I got admitted pretty quickly despite it being Thanksgiving weekend, got to choose my own food (compared to being forced to eat what is given to me or not eat at all like at other mental hospitals I've been in), and make some new friends. The only things I didn't like were how loud the echo was on the unit and that there wasn't more activities to do (going outside, going to a gym, etc). Overall though, would happily stay here again if I need to be in a safe space :)"
"Terrible experience really came to the unit to get help with sleep but also was letting staff know. Was having excruciating head pressure since covid and was so bad. Felt like I was going to pass out. Nobody wanted to listen to me. Nobody cared. I could remember people actually making fun of me and talking about me amongst the staff and they wouldn't even explore any type of testing. Come to find out. I actually have a neuro muscular dental issue where my muscles are actually firing off in my face. Thanks a lot for nothing I think they need to close this whole behavioral unit down because they're disrespectful and they're ignorant. But if the shoe was on the other foot and it was happening to them they wouldn't like it if somebody treated them like that also, they kept feeding me, trazodone and zyprexa for sleep and my heart rate at one point was 124 and everybody kept saying you're fine. You're fine, that's nothing you're fine and I'm like. I don't think a heart rate of 124 is really good for anybody. The blood pressure wasn't that great either, but I just can remember every morning waking up feeling more and more like I was going to pass out because they were giving me over 100 mg of trazodone. Then they were giving me like 10 mg of zyprexa and as I recall as I practice I think is for people with like schizophrenia or something and they're like oh well we give it to people to help them with sleep"
"Worse experience I’ve ever had - I came in for being in really bad ear pain . Sat in the waiting for for about 1 hour in pain and then was seen in a room place in the back of the floor behind another door . Doctor came in k advised I was having really bad ear pain and bad chest pains . They took me for a chest X-ray - doctor came in once said she would give me something for the ear infection and they didn’t no come back to give me the medication for 2-3 hours . Until my mother had to go over to the desk and advise I haven’t gotten medication and was in pain . Said they would be right there didn’t come in for another hour in that time frame another nurse walk past my room and asked if we seen where the person was in the room next to us , there was not anyone I. That room I’m the 2/3 hours I was there then they didn’t come back until I grab my stuff and was walking to the front of the hospital to leave a nurse with a very rude attitude advise she was printing out my discharge papers and would be right in waited another 30 minutes she came in gave me a medicine am . They did Covid test I advised it wasn’t Covid it was the flu and they dod the test anyways . I though once they updated the name and etc it would of been better managed I was so wrong they came in with a portable chest X-ray -THAT DID NOT EVEN WORK AND THEY SAY IM MY ROOM MESSING WITH IT - and at that point I still had nothing for pain if I could give a lower rating I would"
