"I highly recommend Montour Dental to anyone and everyone! Dr. Bernard and his staff truly take the time to deliver excellent patient care. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, and I used to put off going as long as I could to avoid it. Prior to becoming a patient at Montour Dental in around 2015, it had probably been 3-4 years since my most recent dentist visit. With that being said, I had a significant amount of tartar calculus buildup on and around my permanent retainer from braces on my bottom teeth. I was definitely very nervous and worried about the process of removing this buildup. However, Dr. Bernard and every dental hygienist I have ever worked with over the years here has taken good care in explaining what exactly they were going to do and what I could expect to feel prior to any actions they have taken and they do this throughout the entire process. Having this preemptive, effective communication removes the element of surprise and truly does make all the difference in my dental experiences and knowing what to expect helped quell my anxiety. I no longer put off going to the dentist and now make sure I go the recommended every 6 months because Dr. Bernard and his staff make me feel so much at ease. I would never go anywhere else."
