"Get the Egg Rolls! Get the Egg Rolls! Get the Egg Rolls! I am not kidding you. You absolutely need to order yourself an egg roll as these chunky fried morsels of deliciousness are what dreams are made of but dipped in duck sauce! Trust me you will be craving these things for days. As for the rest of the food, PERFECTION! Especially their Peking Duck. You have got to get some of that and my favorite the orange chicken. The food is so flavorful and the right amount of spice. Quick tip, if you want a dish that is spicy make sure you tell them you want it spicy because they may make it less spicy thinking you can't handle it. The prices are absolutely affordable and perfect for families and big groups. The food comes out super fast and the wait staff is very friendly. Try all the condiments on the table especially the pickled garlic! Oh man I could eat the entire jar in one meal! A friend and I actually did! We put it on everything. The lady waiting on us chuckled and taught us how to make it at home very easily. I have been in DC for 12 years and this is my absolute go to spot for Chinese food in all of the the DMV area. I've driven up from my house in Alexandria just to buy egg rolls from them to serve at a house party. All my guests raved about them. So please visit them and give them the business cause I hope to never see this place close down."
"We went to this restaurant on christmas. Food was really good. We had vegetable soup, hunan chicken and eggplant. However, the restaurant is overcrowded and it took almost 30-45 mins for our dishes to arrive. I would suggest to take out instead of dine-in from this restaurant as it is too much overcrowded during special days like Christmas."
"Place doesn't look all that great from the street, but the food was good. Ordered a duck and wonton soup with the house made fresh noodles. Super good. Tastes were all real and fresh. The duck is hanging in the window if you don't believe it was cooked and prepared right there. Service was fast. Prices are great."
"Came here for the handmade dumplings and left very disappointed. Dumplings were thick and bland. I’m not sure if they just had a bad day or things are changing because of rising food costs, but either way…. I was very unimpressed."
"Nothing fancy here, but really good homestyle Chinese food. Friendly and welcoming full service. We lucked out on timing, and we got the table by the front window. The restaurant was full for dinner hours, but there was no waiting. We were seated right away. There's an extensive food menu. There's something here for everyone. The pork fried dumplings were fresh and crispy. The egg rolls, on the other hand, were very greasy but crispy. Two of us tried the fresh noodles; one as duck soup, and the other duck sauté. You can not go wrong with either option. The duck will have fat and bones but adds wonderful flavors. The noodles are fresh, hearty, and fulfilling."
