"Very highly recommend a stay here! McCarthy Lodge is the perfect place for a fun and relaxing getaway. It is so picturesque and private, but also close enough to town in case you need anything. It also has all the amenities and activities you could ask for. Basketball, pickle ball, frisbee golf, a golf simulator, a fire pit and more. More than I could name. During my stay here, we kayaked and went stand up paddleboarding and went tubing on the nearby Potomac River. And the inside is incredible as well. There is a gameroom downstairs with darts and a pool table and a remarkably done bar area. McCarthy lodge is a fantastic stay in a great location with top notch hospitality, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway."

"Very nice place to stay! During my stay, I had the best meals and was treated like royalty. Would highly reccomend for anyone looking to get away and relax away from the stressors of school or work. McCarthy lodge has all the amenities of a perfect vacation home! Mini golf course, disc golf, pool, boat, fire pit, bar, a guest house, hiking trail, and a movie projector. My favorite thing to do during my stay was going on the boat and kayaking in the creek! I am already planning my next stay. Very satisfied!"
