"Horrible staff. Discriminatory against ESA animals. Had to file report with HUD."
"I’ve stayed here for two years and haven’t had any issues at all. Very quiet and pleasant place to be. Brooke from the rental office is amazing!!"
"The neighbors are wonderful and nice. They are very fast to come and fix things when they break. My washer broke and after I called in the morning the came and replaced it in under 2 hours! Wonderful service!!!"
"Pros: the neighborhood is in the woods, and close to Food Lions. Desk clerk is a nice lady and maintenance personnels are friendly. It is relatively cheap. $800 for 1 bedroom. Cons: - Bad neighborhood... police would come every 2-3 weeks in the mid of night. Once they were chasing a fugitive or something. We hear gun shots downstairs and were terrified. Second day, there were shell casings everywhere (pic1). Management just ignored it... - Good news. You don't have to pay for water bills because they are from well. Bad news. Water has black powders and chips in it that making it disgusting. I'm still not sure what those are, but the entire neighborhood is buying bottled waters. Management know this for years apparently and does nothing! - Water heater breaks constantly, and spilled out hot water burnt our cloths and furnitures. We were out of hot water for days without repair. - Do not use their washer and dryer, but at the same time, do not let them hook up your washer and dryer which they were insist doing (because their pipes are leaking...). They hooked ours in reverse. BTW, their water pipe also very old or something that turns your white cloths in to rusted red! - I couldn't find photo anymore, but the HVAC vent is super disgusting. I'm allergic, so it was never used again my entire stay over this apartment. Overall, if you live there, collect evidence on these things and report them to health department... or pay a little more to live in a better place! Good luck!"
"Overall not bad. $900 a month for a basic 2 bedroom isnt bad compared to other places in the area and water is included. Downsides. They use northern neck electric which is by far the most expensive electric company around. Maintenance is a bit ridiculous, sometimes you call and they send the guy out that day and other times you call and it takes weeks to get the problem fixed. Also alot of the repairs seem very half a%#. Towel bar falls and insted of fixing it the right way i get a peice of tonge and groove wood flooring screwed into my wall to act as a anchor. Closet door keeps falling out of its track and insted of replacing it completly they bring a mix matched door with a handle on the wrong side thats about to fall off. Neighbors are very hit and miss. I have some I really like and some i cant stand the low prices tend to bring in a mix of elderly folks on a budget and young people that cant afford much more. Last negative would be calling the office after hours for maintinance. most of the time a grumpy of old man answers the phone and is generally quiet rude, I called about no hot water on a friday night after i first moved in because the water heater had been going in and out and was very abruptly told to read my lease because it says only to call for maintinance emergencys... POSITIVE STUFF. The office lady is very nice and extremely helpful, she generally does the best she can to fix issues that arise. Comparable apartments in the area are 100-200 more a month. With the exception of certain neighbors its a fairly quiet place to live. The water bill is included in your rent. They are pet friendly with the only exceptions being oversized or aggressive dog breeds. If it were getting a percentage grade I would give it a 75%"
