Holiday Inn Express & Suites King George - Dahlgren, an IHG Hotel 16348 Gateway Lane, King George, VA 22485

"Check in here was quick and easy. The breakfast was kept well stocked and had a good choice of items. My staff interactions here were friendly. The location was very convenient to the university annex that I needed to visit and it is also right across from a Walmart and a variety of places to get food. There is an IHOP right across the parking lot. Overall, it was a fine stay. Only minor downside was there was no sort of upgrade or even high floor room provided to me as a Platinum elite."

"Would absolutely stay here again! The hotel was quiet and very clean, good rate, staff was pleasant, included breakfast (don't expect grits, bacon, etc... it's doable), and the hotel is in a great location to walk to stores and restaurants, such as IHOP, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Wendy's, Chick-fil-A, etc. My room had a nice view of trees and was very private! Ask for an end room... my room was 302. (The car in the pic is mine)."

"We were very dissapointed in the breakfast offerings. The pancake machine was broken and we arrived at 9 am ( breakfast is until 10) and there was literally nothing. No omelettes left, no fruit, no hard boiled eggs. Carpet in halls and elevator is dirty. I wouldn't recommend this hotel."

"The hotel itself seemed new, or at least newly renovated. However, our shower head was already broken which made for a very awkward shower. The hallways of the floor we stayed on (4th) was also very hot. Location was pretty good, 20 min from Colonial Beach, which was our destination. Aside from all of that, all of the staff members we encountered were great, front desk, breakfast, cleaning, all wonderful. Thank you all!"

"Conveniently located to Dahlgren Navy Base and the center of town. The staff on all areas are customer focused and the hotel is bright and clean. They will daily come and do a quick clean of your room or you could put a tag on the door to not do the service. I'm proud of these updates to the IHG branded hotels and it places them clearly in the competition of hotel selections"
